DHD mit Proximity Sensor (Näherungssensor) Fehler

Ja, hab ich eben auch gelesen.. Seltsam dieser fehler..

EDIT: Hier ne Lösung

A dutch user has a "workaround" for the problem.

When locked, connect your DHD to a computer using the USB cable, the device will unlock and work as it should!

Super Lösung...

"Another user found out that when holding the device in front of a strong light source (i.e. a 60W light bulb) the device wakes up. However, when the light source is removed, the device locks up again.

It looks like somehow the light sensor has something to do with the problem.


I just came back from the local VF store, the salesman told me that most of the devices they sold last weekend have been returned by their owners with the exact same problem. He sent an email to the dutch VF head office, asking them to report the problem to HTC."

Proximity sensor still doesn't kick in following this though and you can suffer from cheek-presses mid-call...

Ich denk mal das es eine Fehlkalibrierung vom Lichtsensor ist. Die Helligkeit die gebraucht wird um das Gerät zu entsperren wird zu hoch eingestellt sein - denke also mal das es kein großes Problem sein wird für HTC das zu fixen, schade nur das man selber nicht an solche Einstellungen ran kommt. Aber da wir ja eh alle noch auf das Gerät warten, wird sich das bis dahin hoffentlich bereits erledigt haben.

Und wenn das Problem bis dahin noch besteht, soll man dann abwarten oder das Gerät zurückgeben?

Ich frage mich ob das nicht etwas mit falschen / inkompatiblen Display Treibern zu tun hat. So eine ähnliche Geschichte gab es doch auch als das Desire mit SLCD Displays ausgestattet wurde und einige Wochen später von Vodafone auf den Markt gebracht wurde?!? Die haben doch auch die neuen Treiber nicht mitgeliefert oder sowas ähnliches ...

Habe das Gefühl, das sich das ganze zum DESASTER HD enteickelt...

Es wird jetzt erstmal wichtig sein das sich alle die das Problem haben bei HTC melden und auch die Firmware und Radio Version die sie haben mit angeben... umso mehr daten HTC hat umso besser können sie helfen... und um das hier nicht zum Displaygate werden zu lassen wird HTC wohl einiges tun...
Schlechte Presse wäre für HTC jetzt ganz schlecht...

Angeblich hat HTC NL laut XDAForum per private message folgendes getwittert:

HTC NL tweeted that they probably found the solution. The fix might come tomorrow..!

Da es eine private message war gibts leider kein Link... Also erstmal abwarten ob da was dran ist.

Mehrere deutsche Redaktionen haben das DHD schon im Test und keiner hat diesbezüglich etwas berichtet.

Also HTC weiss defintiv von dem Problem! Und wie es scheint ist es softwareseitig.
Also wird zumindest diesbzgl. wohl alles gut

Vielleicht interessiert es euch das das Problem behoben sein soll. Das ganze kann man bei den XDA's nachlesen, nachdem mehrere Leute mit diesem Problem den Sensor abgeblasen haben .... Wahrscheinlicher ist allerdings eher das ein stilles Update seitens HTC im Hintergrund lief - denke ich jedenfalls
