Nimbuzz? nein, Danke

Also ich habe auf den HD Nimbuzz nie genutzt.

Nun wollte ich es auf dem HD2 tatsächlich nutzen und habe mir die Datenschutzerklärung von Nimbuzz mal genauer angeschaut...

ich finde das ist eine absolute Frechheit. Unter diesen Umständen will ich damit nichts zutun haben. Habe mich immer schon gewundert warum das kostenlos ist.

Die nehmen ALLES was ihr auf dem Handy an Daten habt...das fängt bei Telefonnummer, Name, E-Mail usw. an und hört bei Kontaktlisten, Kreditkartendaten usw. auf.

1. WHAT TYPES OF PERSONAL INFORMATION DOES NIMBUZZ COLLECT?

In connection with the provision of the Nimbuzz Services (including the Nimbuzz paid Services), Nimbuzz may gather and process information about you, including the following types of information:

• personal data including contact details (name, address, telephone, mobile, email address etc.) and general information (age, sex, income, pastimes, etc.);
• payment data including credit or debit card billing address, place of residence etc,
• your list of contacts;
• network and technical data (IP addresses, network operator, Device operating system, cookies, etc.);
• traffic data (data processed for the purpose of carrying or billing any communications sent or received using the Nimbuzz Services, e.g., the duration of the call, the number calling, the number called, etc.); and
• questionnaire or survey results and information regarding use of the Nimbuzz Services.

3. DOES NIMBUZZ TRANSFER YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION TO ANYONE ELSE?

Except as set out in this Statement, Nimbuzz does not sell, rent, trade or otherwise transfer any personal information, traffic data or communications content to any third party without your express permission (unless it is obliged to do so under applicable laws or by order of the competent authorities).

Das ist wirklich unverschämt. Ich werde diese Software auch nicht nutzen.

Gibt es denn gute Alternativen, die man Nutzern, die nun auch von Nimbuzz abkehren wollen, ans Herz legen kann?

Aber wenigstens Grabben Sie diese Informationen nicht vom Gerät,
sondern verwenden nur die bei der Registrierung verwendeten Daten.

naja ist leider heute so das sie geld mit deinen daten machen (google)
wird man auf lang nicht aushalten ohne.
ich find pigeon am besten für icq aber es geht leider nicht mehr
frohes neues

Für ICQ gibt es direkt ein ICQ-Programm musst mal auf der ICQ-Webseite nach suchen

Find ich gut, dass die Thematik hier noch mal als eigenständiger Thread verdeutlicht wird. Es stolpern leider trotzdem noch genug User in deren Falle!

hmm also ich bin nicht so sicher, vielleicht verstehe ich die AGB falsch, aber so wie ich das sehe, nehmen sie die Kontakteliste, aber nicht deren Details. Die Kontakteliste hat ja auch ICQ, MSN etc. schon bei sich gespeichert, das ist ja klar notwendig für den Service. Und von "vom Gerät grabben" sehe ich auch nichts.
