Hat zwar hier nichts zu suchen. Aber ich hab Goa 2.0 Beta 2 drauf und ich habe keine Probleme damit.

Hallo liebe Leute,

ich habe mich nun entschlossen das MIUI Rom mal zu testen. Der erste Eindurck ist super!

Allerdings habe ich ein kleines Problem:
Es wird immer angezeigt das ich "Roame" (kleines R beim Eimpfang). Ich bin aber in meinem Heimnetz eingebucht (Bob bzw. A1). Vielleicht is es deswegen, weil als Netzbetreiber A1 angezeigt wird und ich aber bei Bob bin. (Bob ist eine Zweitmarke von A1, also genutzt wird das gleiche Netz).

Mein letztes ROM war "Hamsters Rom" und bei diesem hatte ich dieses Problem nicht.
Jetzt muss ich halt immer "Daten Roaming" aktivieren damit die Datenübertragung in meinem Heimnetz funktioniert. Das ist bei mir leider sehr schlecht, da ich in Grenznähe wohne und nicht unabsichtlich in einem Fremdnetz Daten-Roamen möchte.

Wisst Ihr vielleicht eine Lösung?

Hallo,

hatte grad Darky's 10.1 drauf und da hatte ich das Problem mit dem Roaming nicht mehr. Scheint also nur bei MIUI aufzutreten.

Da die aktuelle Version mir zu langsam und fehlerhaft ist, bin ich wieder auf die v3 inkl. Update von Nex-S.
Diese ist sehr performant und der Akku hält auch wesentlich länger. =)

es wird ja die "90screenstate_scaling" modifiziert, also ist es möglich sie im /system/etc/init.d aus zu tauschen, ich mache es gelich mal


- im Anhand die Datei (rar entpacken natürlich)


- Wer es "per Hand" machen möchte hier die Anleitung:

1. Locate the 90screenstate_scaling using Root Explorer (Etc > init.d > 90screenstate_scaling)

2. Open the 90screenstate_scaling with text editor (Make sure Mout r/w is on -- Hold on to the file, a pop up should ... well ... pop up haha and press on "Open in Text Editor)

3. Scroll down and under "One governor to rule them all" change AWAKE_GOVERNOR to "ondemand" or whatever governor - except smartass/interactive

4. Scroll down even more and in the "Smartass settings" add a "#" before to all the echo -> Like this "#echo"

5. Scroll down and look for the governor you choose i.e. ondemand and remove the "#" before each echo

Here is a preview of what to expect from this weeks ROM, in places the translations are a little sketchy,
just going off what i’ve experienced whilst testing the BETA.
I will update on any other aspects of the changelog as and when I see other improvements as with every week this is posted.

Recommended updates:

Settings menu optimisations
Improved Theme Manager application (new version code base)
Vibration alert issues with SMS fixed

System:

Optimisation of settings sliding fluency to solve lag issues
Optimisation to reduce memory usage in Settings menu operations

Phone:

Fix issue with incoming and outgoing calls causes FC

Messaging:

Add time sent / received details to SMS.

Themes:

Added theme details page to select new items
Added theme manager can set the cover page as a list of preview images
Rebuilt theme application code to improve performance and greatly enhance speed of theme switching

Camera:

Fixed FC issue when closing camera application is some cases
Fixed issue with Camera view finder view becoming unreadable
Fixed I9000, T959 and Defy auto focus issues disabled as not supported by these models

Gallery:

Added support for mass select / move of SD card items
Optimisation of loading speed of Photos and folders from SD card
Fixed issue where Cropped images would not be saved to the gallery

Jetzt ist mir noch ein Fehler aufgefallen. Nach dem reboot werden alle Einstellungen die ich gemacht habe zurückgesetzt auf standard (Positionen der Apps, Widgets, etc.).

Was könnte das sein?

haste mal Dalvic-Cache und Cache gewiped?

Falls ja, formatiere /system und installiere das letzte Update noch einmal ODER, als letzte Möglichkeit:

wipe /data und /datadata

also beim Versuch den Dalvic-Cache zu wipen bekomme ich folgende Meldung:

E: unknown volume for path [/sd-ext]
Dalvik Cache wiped.

ist nicht schlimm, passt so

OK, hat allerdings auch nichts gebracht das wipen des Dalvic und des normalen Caches.
Jetzt hab ich system, data und datadata formatiert und installiere gerade neu.

Bin gespannt ob es was bringt.

Nö hab ich nicht, da sowieso nichts drauf ist momentan (teste gerade die verschiedenen Roms da ich mit meinem HamstersV3 - denke ich - nicht mehr zufreiden war).

Jetzt schaut es aus als ob alles OK wäre.

das freut mich

an sich nen wunderschönes rom, aber solang der musikplayer nicht auf die externe sd karte zugreifen kann, ist nix für mich. unter den eigenen dateien wird die karte erkannt, nur halt nicht im player. schade!

ist das ne sache der Einstellungen? bei mir wurd halt in der ordnersuche nix angezeigt...
