Ich bin mit der SW von HTC sehr zufrieden.

Da muss ich dir leider widersprechen. Ich hab zu Zeit "nur" das HTC Desire HD (vorgänger von Sensation) und ich hab das Revolution HD 5.1.7 um damit läuft das DHD besser. Die Akkulesitung hat sich verbessert (Mit Stock bin knapps über den Tag kommen,allerdings mit viel Internetradio und mit RevoHD hält der akku jettz 1,5 Tage) und die Performance hat sich auch etwas verbessert. Der GPSfix dauert jetzt noch nur 5 Sekunden und vorhin fast ne 1min (wobei ich jetzt nicht weiss ob es am Handy lagt oder am Standort wo ich mich befand) Aber es gibt auch schlechte Costum Rom, die meisten dürfen aber gut bis perfekt sein

titanium Root ist für mich mittlerweil ein Muss auf Android Geräten und SETCPU ebben so

also wird wohl in sehr naher zukunft der bootloader freigeschaltet oder? mein english is jetzt leider nicht so gut.

Geht mir ganz genauso.

Ich hab schon immer etwas abgewartet, bis alle Probleme ausgeräumt sind. Was nützt mir ein 500€ Handy, wenn ich es zu Beginn nicht ordentlich nutzen kann.

Interessant wird eigentlich viel mehr, ob HTC das unlocking irgendwie registriert.
z.B.: IMEI an HTC übermitteln, dann kriegt man nen unlock-Key und verliert seine Garantie.

Sony Ericsson macht's so, also würde mich nicht wundern, wenn HTC den gleichen Weg geht.

Erlangt man die Garantie wieder oder ist die ganz weg ? :s

Also ich hab dies bezüglich Kontakt mit HTC aufgenommen und sie sagen dass es noch in Plannung ist und noch keine Info's gibt.

Also wenn HTC wirklich die IMEI will und dadurch die Garantie verloren geht, werde ich warten, bis XDA keine Seriennummer mehr braucht und dann über XDA s-offen.

Dann hab ich immernoch die Chance, bei einem Defekt auf S-On zurück zu gehen und evtl. merken sie es ja nicht. (So wie früher)

Soweit ich weiß werden die Geräte einfach S-Off geshipped. In Canada sind die EVO 3D Geräte bereits S-Off geliefert wurden. Verlieren wird man somit seine Garantie nur durch Custom ROMs denke ich...

Nun macht euch nicht in die Hosen es geht auf Offiziellem wege und HTC hat es gross Publik gemacht das der Loader offen sein wird also können sie es sich nicht leisten dann irgendwas mit der Garantie zu machen...

Klingt logisch... Ich schätze schon dass HTC schlauer ist als Sony Ericsson... Da wurde ja auch Mittels Update der Bootloader öffnet. Und die Seriennummer an Sony ericsson gesendet.
