Das hat natürlich was. Hab mich deshalb aufgrund deines Erahrungsberichts auch dazu entschieden mit der LF5 vorerst mal den Stock-Kernel zu nutzen. Der gefühlte Unterschied zu vorher war schon ziemlich deftig. Mich stört allerdings die fehlende NFTS-Einbindung beim Stock... Hab das jetzt aber mal mit Stickmount von CF "überbrückt"... ;-)
Könnte man mit Siyah auch die externe SD mit NTFS laufen lassen?
Probiert hab ich das nicht; sehe aber auch nicht wirklich einen Sinn darin... Praktisch ist einfach, dass ein USB-Stick direkt im File-System als NFTS gemountet wird. Kannst dann einfach anwählen (wie SdCard und ExtSdCard).
ich bin mit der lf5 jetzt auch mal auf dem stock kernel geblieben ... kommt mir bis jetzt auch flüssiger vor

- applied AndreiLux’s mali platform rewrite (thanks to AndreiLux for removing most of the garbage code)
- ported original Voodoo Sound implementation from project-voodoo
- added headset amplification level, stereo expansion gain, bass boost, hi-fi play, dac direct, anti-jitter and mono downmix settings to ExTweaks
- added insecure/secure adbd setting in ExTweaks. default is secure.
- added GPU voltage, threshold & stepcount settings in ExTweaks.
- modified gpu thresholds a little
- fixed notification lights not being active for some time after a restart
- removed mali resume frequency and voltage settings which sets the clock to 266MHz after idle
- Android logger as module
- added sqlite3 binary to ramfs to be used in some optimization scripts (such as the one which will disable fastdormancy)
- Enabled some commented kernel tweaks and added some CFS tweaks.
- rounded cpu voltages to 25mV to have better support with existing undervolting applications.
- added cfs-tweaks selection to ExTweaks that modifies granularity and latency settings. Available presets are “Samsung default”, “Linux kernel default” and “Thunderbolt script default”
- added max_cpu_lock setting to ExTweaks which lets you choose the number of cores to be used in hotplugging. default is unlocked and quad-core and the other settings are triple-core, dual-core and single-core.
- cherry-picked some UV_mV changes from AndreiLux’s repository which will round the voltage settings to the nearest 12.5mV step.

- (v1.3 -> v1.3.1) fixed speaker volume reduction problem
- (v1.3.1 -> v1.3.2) fixed headphone detection. fixed speaker volume reduction (again.. now it should be the same as stock level).. reverted cpu voltage roundings.
- (v1.3.2 -> v1.3.3) changed headphone detection again (should fix some random reboots, hopefully) and disabled thunderbolt scripts for now.
- (v1.3.3 -> v1.3.4) changed descriptions and removed some items from audio tab in ExTweaks. decreased default headphone volume slightly.added/removed some options and some defaults are changed. some cleanup in init scripts. reverted some parameters in pegasusq governor to defaults.
- (v1.3.4 -> v1.3.5) fixed mic issue with Omega ROM (at least on the one that I use now, and probably with some others). make sure you power-off the device after you flash & then restart. thanks to ::indie::@XDA for giving me enough information about the differences.
- (v1.3.5 -> v1.3.6) this time I am pretty sure that omega rom mic problem is fixed.
- (v1.3.6 -> v1.3.7)
- fixed fmradio problem with dac_direct and added it back to ExTweaks.
- added fll_tuning (known as Anti-jitter) back.
- added dynamic_gain back which will prevent distortion with high gimme-drums effect.
- fixed system partition being mounted r/w. insecure-adbd as default.
- fixed adbd being killed when ExTweaks is launched
- and some other tiny changes/cleanups…

Würde mich auch interessieren... :D Bin zwar momentan absolut happy mit dem Stock, aber so wie sich das Change-Log liest, könnte der ne Sünde wert sein... ;-)

Habe den 1.3 schon drauf und bis jetzt kann ich nichts negatives Berichten, läuft soweit alles.
Nur an den neuen vielen Einstellungen trau ich mich noch nicht so richtig dran, nicht das ich irgendwas zu hoch einstell und dann ist mein S3 kaputt.

Das dachte ich mir Gestern schon.
Da kommen bestimmt wieder 3 Fixes.
Darum habe ich mir angewöhnt etwas zuzuwarten... ;-) Kommt der Lebensdauer meines gut laufenden Stock-Kernels ja ebenfalls entgegen... :D
Ich hatte jetzt nach der Installation vor 20 Minuten den 3 hot reboot sobald das Display ausgegangen ist.

Na dann warten wir jetzt definitiv auf den nächsten Fix! ;-) Bühne frei für v1.3.2 :D

Ich werde auch wieder mal etwas länger auf dem Stock Kernel ausharren. Habe den
Custom Kernel von Siyah zwar schon ausprobiert, jedoch kann ich momentan noch
nichts großartiges finden was mich zu einem erneuten Wechsel bewegen könnte...
