Wer hat den Update-Fehler 0x80188308

Bitte mal hier melden! Ich will mal heraus bekommen was wir gemeinsam haben! Ich glaube nicht, dass es am fehlenden Speicher liegt, da ich 11 GB auf dem Phone frei habe und keine SD-Karte drinnen!

Ein erste Prognose: Wir haben alle Interop-Unlock!

Könnte es eventuell an den im Zitat ROT markierten Teilen liegen?
Ich habe am ATIV-S jeweils die "Vorgänger" drauf und hatte keine Probleme mit GDR1
bei der DevPrev8.1

Nein, so wie es aussieht ist das noch ne offene Baustelle von Microsoft, welche in der kommenden Zeit noch gefixt werden wird. Das hat auch nix mit einem zu knappen Speicher zu tun.
Ich hatte erst gedacht, dass es sich vielleicht um all die Leute handeln könnte, die vorher nen Unlock auf ihrem Ativ S drauf gemacht hatten, aber das war ne Sackgasse.

Wahrscheinlich hat das Ganze schon mit einer Kombination aus den unterschiedlichen Firmware-teilen zu tun. Je nach Version belegt sie unterschiedlich internen Speicherplatz.

Was natürlich auch möglich wäre, dass nicht alle Ativ S genau dieselbe Spezifikationen haben.

Schlussendlich ist es aber egal. Seit dem Twitter Eintrag wissen, wir, dass es ein Microsoft internes Problem ist.

Es wäre einfach schön, wenn Microsoft etwas besser und vor allem schneller informieren würde, was es mit der Fehlernummer auf sich hat. Ich könnte mir vorstellen, das Einige auf einen Hardreset verzichtet hätten, wenn sie gewusst hätten, das er nichts bringt.

Ich hoffe mal MS löst das. Von Samsung dürfen wir wohl kaum etwas erwarten, spätestens seit der Klage von MS gegen Samsung wegen ausstehender Patentzahlungen.

Ich glaube wir alle reiten auf einem toten Pferd mit unserem Ativ S und wollen es nicht wahr haben, weil es eigentlich ganz gut galoppiert.

Es sind auch lumnias neuster Generation betroffen nicht nur unser alter Gaul 😃

You're probably enjoying Windows Phone 8.1 Update 1 that rolled out earlier today – unless you're on an HTC 8X or HTC 8S. We reported earlier today that those on the 8X and 8S we're unable to get Windows Phone 8.1 Update 1. The cause? Turns out it needs an OEM driver update from HTC.

Here's what Microsoft has said on their support forums for those unable to update to the latest build:


"There are a small set of devices for which we aren't offering the latest build of the Developer Preview program due to an identified problem that requires mobile operator or OEM driver updates. These will be offered when the official update for your phone is available."

We reached out to Microsoft for clarification but haven't heard back yet. In the meantime, it looks like the HTC 8X and 8S won't be able to get Windows Phone 8.1 Update 1 until HTC puts out the necessary driver updates. We'll let you know when that happens.

Anyone with a Samsung or HTC Windows Phone unable to get the latest update? Sound off below. Or if you did get it, do let us know.

He then goes on to say "Still working on the "low storage" install prob 80188308. Note, this is not USER storage you can clear- it's install partition. Sit tight."
Microsoft may have finally addressed installation problems with the Windows Phone 8.1 Update 1 Preview for Developers. The issue initially started when Update 1 for Windows Phone 8.1 Preview began on Monday and a few users downloaded the update, but it would not install. The associated error code is 8018830f, and Microsoft's Joe Belfiore tweeted that they were investigating.
Ever since yesterday, we have received a few tips that those with the previous 8018830f error are now getting Update 1 to their phones. However, within the last hour we have received multiple tips from users who are now being alerted to the update being available, along with a successful installation. The fix may also address those with the even more rare 80188306 error.
Heading into our 8.1 Update 1 forums, there are others also confirming the fix is in place. However, not everyone with the reported error is getting the update, so it is not clear if there is a rolling fix in place or there are other factors in play. One common denominator for a successful update seems to be having Lumia Cyan installed, in addition to being mostly Lumia 925s.

So wie es aussieht gibt es drei Fehler mit dem Update (306, 308, 30f). 306 und 30f scheinen behoben zu sein und betreffen vorwiegend die Lumias.
308 besteht noch immer und leider ist es auch sehr ruhig geworden. Der letzte Tweet von Belifore stammt von vor knapp einer Woche.

Ich frage mich ob der 308 ganz einfach als Kollateralschaden akzeptiert wird, oder ob da noch etwas kommt? Für HTC sieht es ja auch nicht gerade gut aus, obwohl HTC irgendwann das Update liefern will.

Also, ich warte noch bis Ende Jahr, wenn bis dahin nichts gekommen ist überlege ich mir ernsthaft zum iPhone zu wechseln (habe ich das jetzt wirklich geschrieben?)

Es wurde auch bereits im Microsoft-Answers-Forum gesagt, das dies kein Fehlerbehebungsupdate ist.

Wünschte die würden im Answers Forum mal sagen, dass sie noch an der Behebung von 308 dran sind!

Meine Frau und ich haben beide ATIV S. Selbes MS account. Einziger Unterschied: Ich habe mehr Apps installiert. Sie hatte kein Problem mit update, bei mir geht es nicht.

bitte mal in beiden Geräten die Diagnose starten nach dieser Anleitung.
dann bitte berichten, ob ihr wirklich gleiche Handys habt...
