The 4.x.x rom is based on HTC latest 5.0.1 base and requires you to update your firmware to at least the 4.4.4 (Kitkat) version! You need to do that on your own, because we can’t install the firmware for you with the rom installation. Ich kann's kaum erwarten, bis es da ist.
Warte zwar leider immer noch auf mein One, aber sobald die Viper da ist, wird sie auch geflasht. Bugs hin oder her, Nandroid hilft im schlimmsten Falle.

Die Viper ist und bleibt einfach die ROM für HTC Geräte.

Gibts doch schon seit ein paar Tagen oder?
Morgen kommt mein One an, Viper flashen kommt gleich danach

Lust ja, Zeit leider nein, aber ich bin mir sicher da lässt sich noch jemand finden, ist ja ein heiß begehrtes ROM

Genial, ist diesmal sehr früh dabei das Team Venom. Habe auf dem One X+ und dem One M7 sehr gute Erfahrungen mit diesen Rom gemacht.
Es kommt mir definitiv auch wieder auf mein M8

wer hat schon Erfahrungen mit dem aktuellen Viper One M8 Rom?

Ich habe sie seit gestern drauf.
Bisher keine Abstürze oder Fehler aufgetreten. Performance meiner Meinung nach genial.
Akku kann ich leider nicht vergleichen, da ich das Gerät erst seit gestern habe.

Edit:
Akku Laufzeit finde ich in Ordnung. 4 1/2 Stunden Displayzeit. Durchgehend im mobilen Netz, eventuell eine halbe Stunde WLAN gehabt.

Mit dem S3 kam ich selbst mit dem großen Akku nicht auf so Zeiten... Dabei habe heute ziemlich viel gespielt.
Bin vollkommen zufrieden. Bisher keine Fehler gefunden und die Akkulaufzeit passt ebenfalls. Kann sie bereits vollkommen empfehlen!

Habe es heute auch geschafft das M8 frei zu schalten und die Viper zu flashen.

Mein erster Eindruck ist sehr positiv, Exchange Mail Mod funktioniert auf Anhieb, dies war beim M7 nicht ganz so reibungslos!

Super Rom, wie man es von Viper gewohnt ist.
Ich hab es mit Xposed und GravityBox noch etwas getunt, und zwar kann ich mit einem langen Druck auf die "letzte Apps" Taste das Display ausschalten
Man kann zwar in den Venom Tweaks einstellen dass bei doppelt-tippen auf die Status-bar das Display ausgeschaltet wird, aber wer hat schon einen so langen Daumen?
Falls jemand wissen will wie das gemacht wird, ich gebs gern weiter

Update: funktioniert mit dem update auf 1.2.0 nun auch in den venom tweaks

Funktioniert bei eich die Updatefunktion via OTA von 1.1.0 auf 1.2.0?

Das kann ich dir leider nicht beantworten, denn ich habe 1.1.0 nie darauf gehabt.

Bei mir gings nicht, musste das Update manuell laden und installieren

Es gibt auch einige Tweaks, die nicht funktionieren. So wie man Venom Team kennt, werden die Fehler nacheinander korrigiert.

Ich habe bereits mit Pro Key (Gold) für Kaffee gesorgt.

Ich habe die Version 1.2.0 nun auch von Hand installiert.

Das die kleinen Fehler, welche noch im Viper Rom sind, entsprechend beseitigt werden gilt beim Team Venom als sicher.
Daher war der Erwerb des Pro Key (Gold) auch das erste, was ich nach erfolgreicher Rom Installation und Einrichtung tat.
Die Arbeit die Team Venom leistet darf ruhig honoriert werden

Sehe ich genauso, mehrere Devs arbeiten an dem ROM und es wird viel Zeit investiert, die auf jeden Fall belohnt werden sollen.

Hallo zusammen

ich sitze nun seit 4 Stunden an meine HTC One und komme nicht weiter. Versuche schon die ganze Zeit den Viper Rom zu installieren und jedes Mal kommt nach der Installation folgende Fehlermeldung:

ViperOneM8 v1.3.0 install failed.
Installer Status: 7

Habe es mit TWRP und CWM versucht
langsam bin ich am verzweifeln

weiss jemand an was es liegt?
