Wieder mal Begeisterung wegen diesem Top-Display:

It exudes a clarity that has to be seen to be believed. Colours look beautiful, icons and text are razor sharp and everything floats perfectly. We find it hard to see how this could be beaten. When you're looking at icons on a black background (like in the app drawer), you can't even see the black, if that makes sense. It is so deep, that icons just float. Beneath the screen, in the centre, but hidden until needed, lies a pulsating notification light.

Android als Jelly Bean 4.2 macht offensichtlich Fortschritte:

All in all, it's an intuitive, fluid, beautiful system to use. Yes, Android is a little easier to get lost in because of the various menus which is also its strength. But it's also incredibly simple if you don't want to dig around too much.

Sehr guter Empfang und gute Sprachqualität:

We had absolutely no issues with the Nexus 4 and found that not only did calls connect easily but they stayed connected even in places where we'd expect them to drop. Getting into the lift in the office is a classic example of this. We suffered no dropped calls. And the sound quality was, quite frankly, brilliant. Again, you need to experience this to believe it.

Eine recht gute, jedoch nicht überragende Kamera mit guten Video-Eigenschaften:

In good light, you get fantastic reproduction and the HDR mode makes that even better. In lower light, the LED gave us pleasing results though it was unable to match the intensity of the light on the Samsung Galaxy S3. That said, few phones have been able to. [...] Where the Nexus 4 excels is moving between extreme light situations. We did the standard test where we went from pitch black to really bright light, courtesy of our nuclear strength spotlights in our very own kitchen. The Nexus 4 was one of the fastest devices we've seen ...

Akkulaufzeit DURCHAUS AKZEPTABEL:

By the time we got home at 5pm, the Nexus 4 had told us the charge was hitting 15% but then we managed to keep it going with minimal use until we went to bed at 9pm. We must also point out that much of the day was spent in a basement office with poor signal, so the Nexus 4 was constantly searching. We'd call that a good result and with frugal use, you'll squeeze at least another few hours out of this. For a modern handset, it's impressive and we are really pleased. It's most definitely an improvement on the HTC One X and even trumps the Samsung Galaxy S3 which is, itself, no slouch in that department.

Fazit:

But make no mistake – this is the best Nexus handset so far by a long shot. We love it and can't recommend it highly enough. It could seriously be a contender for our best smartphone of 2012. If you're due a new phone, you should check the Google Nexus 4 out without delay.

Ja.. keine Ahnung wieso ist auch seeeehr komisch aber wird sich regeln denke ich wenn es in den Handel kommt und die Besitzer es ein paar tagen haben werden..

Schau dir mal Benchmarks des Optimus G an. Da sieht die Sache dann wieder ganz anders aus.

Das habe ich bereits. Das Nexus4 schneidet gegenüber dem LG Optimus G in jeglichen Punkten schlechter ab. Nebst Performance übrigens auch im Batterylife...

Auf theverge sagen sie jedoch das die ganze Software noch nicht definitiv ist. So funktionieren zum Beispiel Homescreen widgets noch nicht. Sie sagen auch, dass auf mitte November ein OTA erwartet wird.
Ich hoffe das, dass neue built bis zum release die performance und vorallem das batterylife noch stark verbessert.

Genau das meine ich ja. Das Nexus müsste mindestens genau so gut abschneiden.

Was ja die neuen Benchmarks ja gerade bestätigen.

Sagen Benchmarks denn soviel aus für euch? Manchmal ist es doch wichtiger, wenn das Gerät so einwandfrei läuft....

Hoffen wkr das beste. Mich hält es definitiv nicht vom kauf ab. Ich vertraue auf google und unsere top custom rom köche

Freue mich schon jetzt aufs flashen. Macht bei einem nexus einfach am meisten spass

Darum geht es nicht.
Es ist einfach sehr komisch wenn identische Hardware halb so gut läuft.

Die effektiven Zahlen sind mir eigentlich egal.

Hm, vielleicht arbeitet das System irgendwie anders... aber die Benchmarks verwirren mich auch, da ich die von Qualcomm gesehen habe mit dem CPU + GPU und die wesentlich besser waren...

Das wäre eher seltsam. Ist ja eigentlich so ziemlich das Gleiche.
Aber eben die Benchmarks im Link von Lex360 entsprechen schon eher dem was logisch wäre.

Ja dort gibt es ab und zu auch manche Ergebnisse, aber bitte nicht hier in diesen Mengen darüber diskutieren. Das ist ein Informations-Thread mit den Links zu den Reviews, mit Bildern und Videos.

das mit den benchmarks ist wohl so,
das LG Optimus G ist optimiert auf die Benchmarks, das machen alle hersteller, die Leistung ist aber ca gleich.
Das LG Nexus 4 ist es nicht, deswegen die unterschiedlichen Werte

Der Akku hat übrigens denke ich mit dem nicht fertigen OS zu tun,
da kommt ja vor dem Release für die Review geräte noch ein Update, wenn z.b. der Kernel n paar Bugs hat oder das Gerät nicht komplett in Deep Sleep geht dann verbraucht es halt mehr.

Außerdem, android geräte und alle smartphones verbrauchen wenn das Display an ist immer viel Energie, die Energie muss gespart werden im Standby, denn wenn man das Gerät nicht nutzt soll es auch nichts verbrauchen, wenn man es aber nutzt ist ja egal sozusagen, dafür ist es ja gemacht meiner Meinung nach

Akkulaufzeit ... positiv!

After a week of use, both in our usual at-home configuration as well as away from the comfort of stable Wifi, we're very happy with battery life. The Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro is supposed to be extremely economical, and that's what we're seeing in our initial testing. [...] We'll keep an eye on battery life and update here as needed. But our impression after a week of use is very good. Some phones are better, sure. But you can always just plug in the phone at some point during the day. Charging is quick, as well, if you're worried about that sort of thing. The Nexus 4 also is set up for wireless charging with the Qi standard.

WLAN Empfindlichkeit ... ebenfalls!

Oh, and of course there's Wifi on board. The Nexus 4 has 802.11 b/g/n (with 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz available). In some quick unscientific testing, the Nexus 4 appears to do Wifi a little better than its predecessor, especially at greater distances.

Außerdem:

- We’ve had nary a problem with GPS or Bluetooth. Work as advertised.
- Mentioned above, but worth repeating: The rear speaker is loud. Maybe a little overdriven at times.
- As has been the case with the Galaxy Nexus for a number of months now, Google Wallet is pre-installed.
- There’s currently a wicked bug in Google Voice in Android 4.2 that crashes the app if you create a new text message and attempt to add a contact to the message.
- Phone calls (yes, some people still do those) were crisp and clear, with the earpiece speaker sufficiently loud.

Ha ha Vielleicht ist die Deutsche Telekom (T-Online) sauer weil sie mit dem Nexus 4 nichts verdienen kann....

Ja, sie haben es nichtmal ins Programm genommen. Hätte es sogar mit VVL genommen wenn es etwas teurer gewesen wäre. Ist besonder ärgerlich da ich als Business-Kunde da hätte sparen können. Aber so habe ich wenigstens kein Branding drauf und bekomme Updates immer sofort

The most premium-feeling Android phone in existence. It's so rigid that it feels like one solid block of glass. It's not slippery, either; the rubbery sides give a great grip. Other phones feel like Happy Meal toys in comparison.

Verglichen mit dem Galaxy Nexus:

The old Nexus had an absolutely atrocious battery life. Upgraders will be glad to know the Nexus 4 lasts a lot longer. I usually get about 12-14 hours out of the battery with medium use. The screen on time for both battery charts was 2 hours and 40ish minutes. The battery charges from dead to full in about 2-3 hours.

The screen is a lot better. The quoted resolutions are similar, but the Galaxy Nexus has two sub-pixels per "pixel" and the Nexus 4 has three. 33% more sub-pixels makes a big difference. You will lose (and miss) the super-black blacks of the GN's AMOLED screen, however.

You're also getting a much louder speaker, a better camera, and a more stable modem.
