iOS 6.1 Beta3 - Swisscom

Habe gerade nach dem Update meines iPhone5 auf iOS6.1 Beta3 eine Systemnachricht von Swisscom erhalten, welche die Aufforderung enthielt, mein iPhone neu zu starten. Hat das hier noch jemand bekommen? Weiss jemand den Sinn dahinter? Sind das evtl. schon die neuen Einstellungen für LTE?

Berichte doch mal ob 6.1 Neues bringt?

Kann sein, dass es für die neue iOS Version neue Provider-Updates gibt. Von daher wäre das schon gut möglich. Da ich aber schon längere Zeit nicht mehr für iOs entwickle und es auch erstmal nicht mehr vorhabe, kommt mir keine Beta auf das Gerät ^^

Changes to iCloud Setup

• When setting up an iOS device for the first time with iCloud, it will now ask you to confirm your Apple ID password for FaceTime and iMessages. It will also ask you to confirm how you’d like people to reach you, and tells you that you can change these settings at any time later on.

Passbook Sample Card Updated

• The sample card within Passbook has been updated slightly for those in the United Kingdom, changing “movie tickets” to “cinema tickets” in the first sentence, and “theaters” to “cinemas” in the last sentence.

Reset Advertising Identifier Now Works

• Before this release, tapping the ‘Reset Advertising Identifier’ button in the Advertising menu did nothing. Now it appears to be working, and asks you to confirm that you’d like to reset the data (pictured below).

Voice Dial Only

• For those who still use Voice Control over Siri, you can now activate a ‘Voice Dial Only’ option that limits the feature — as its name suggests — to voice dialing only. That’ll prevent it from playing Morrisey when you ask it to call your friend, Tom Morrison.

New Cellular Data Option for iTunes

• There’s now an iTunes option within the cellular data settings (pictured below). By default, it’s turned off — at least in this beta, though that may change for final release — so you’ll need to activate it if you want to download songs over 3G and 4G data connections.

Weil sich meine Prioritäten geändert haben ^^ Ist auch einige Zeit her. Meine Entwicklungszeit endete bei damals noch iPhone OS 3 ^^
