Changelog:

v2.6.1: reverted to cm_bravo_14 base. 15 and 17 both contain the GPS problem that does not allow the GPS to work after switching it off and on. This fixes that issue. Changed to tytung r7 kernel.
v2.6.0: updated to cm_bravo_17 base. Updated to crawling's initrd.gz. Updated anti-ad hosts file. No more RAM builds. There seems to be no noticeable real world benefits from my testing. This will take longer to boot on the first boot, but after first boot with the new initrd.gz, it will boot quicker.
v2.5.5: updated to cm_bravo_15 base.
v2.5.4: updated to cm_bravo_14 base. Removed duplicate Car Home due to updated gapps(older version removed, CarHomeLauncher.apk).
v2.5.3: updated to CM7 Desire RC2 base!
v2.5.2: updated to cm_bravo_13 base. Updated to 03/07/2011 google apps. Music long press to change tracks is back! Hopefully this alleviates SOD issues.
v2.5.1: updated camera libs, ril libs, and stagefright libs from gpc's build.
v2.5: Updated to cm_bravo-12. Updated to rafpigna OC 1.8 (now has support for native Wifi tethering/IEEE 802.1x EAP). Fixed voice search and loud outgoing volume (thanks iamgpc). Fixed mediaserver problems on boot/robo voice with audible keypad enabled (thanks Markinus).
v2.4.5: Updated to cm_bravo-11, Android 2.3.3 base (GRI40)! Wifi off/data off now seems to work correctly with the power widget.
v2.4.4: Complete RC1 Integration (including /system/lib/). Still on cm_bravo_full-8 base. No new nightly has been released in 2 days unfortunately.
v2.4.3: Updated to cm_bravo-8 (RC1) in full besides /system/lib/. pongster pointed out to me that /system/lib/ in RC1 is what causes the 100% CPU issue. Once I figure out which libs are troublesome those will be upgraded as well. Implemented AdamG's A2SD+. This will most likely stay within the build indefinitely unless there are serious problems with it.
v2.4.2: Updated to the latest CyanogenMod apps and framework. This change brings many updates to CyanogenMod settings, but brings a nice new feature... Battery percentage! This can be found under CyanogenMod settings -> Interface -> Status Bar tweaks. This brings the best of both worlds, RC1 features but without the bugs RC1 introduced. I will update to an RC1 based build whenever I can work out the bugs, but until then, we will be using the latest nightly before RC1 with RC1 framework/apps.
v2.4.1: Updated to tytung r6 kernel. This fixes IEEE 802.1x/EAP authentication support as well as native tethering.
v2.4: Fixed market (thanks crawlingcity). Updated to tytung r5 Kernel. Still on cm_bravo_39 base (last nightly before RC1). With any nightly past RC1 System seems to have 100% cpu usage all the time. Until this is resolved this will be the latest base.
v2.3.3: Fixed wifi reboot issue, based on cm_bravo_39 full. Still troubleshooting the WPA2 issues.
v2.3.2: GPS works again, changed base to cm_bravo_39 full. I am not sure what caused all of the issues between build 39 and RC1, but GPS did not work and it seemed sluggish due to 100% system CPU usage. Known WIFI problem that results in reboot loops for some users.. Will address in v2.3.3.
v2.3.1: Fixed Governor selection within CM Performance CPU Settings. Updated to Desire(bravo) RC1 base. High CPU usage problem/no GPS works.
v2.3: Fixed CM Performance CPU Settings (thanks to pongster). You can now set overclocking/governor in that menu and no longer need SetCPU! Updated stragefright libs. Last stable/functional for the most part. CPU Governor settings do not work.
v2.2: Updated to cm_bravo_38 base. Fixed LED Notifications thanks to iamgpc.
v2.1.3: Updated to cm_bravo_37 base.

-Auto backlight does work but custom auto backlight levels do not. This started occuring once LED Notifications began to work. They are both tied to the lights library but it will remain this way until a new lights library is available. I feel that this is the best middle ground because to me LED notifications are essential.
-Mobile data switches on when disabling wifi through the power control widget in builds with RC1 or newer based apps (v2.4.2+). You must disable mobile data in either the power control widget or menu again, to disable it. This problem will most likely be resolved in a newer nightly. Use v2.4.1 if this is an issue for you as it does not have RC1 based apps/framework.
-Blurry MMS: Set UserAgent to "NexusOne" in messaging.
-MMS Max Size: This can be adjusted if you use handcent messaging, not within the stock messaging app.

Also, wenn das eine deutsche Version ist würde ich gern jetzt mal Android flashen ... noch habe ich WinMob 6.5 ... kann mir da einer mal helfen. Ich lese gerade das Mega Howto durch und habe so das Gefühl, dass ich jetzt noch mal studieren muss

Deine Schritte unten sind richtig, aber ich glaub du brauchst mindestens SPL2.08.HSPL um die Sachen zum Laufen zu kriegen. Ausserdem musst du imho nicht zwingend ein Radio installieren, wenn du bereits eins mal drauf gemacht hast. Task 29 dürfte das Radio nicht entfernen.

Zusätzlich solltest du Dir allerdings die zahlreichen tutorials durchlesen, wo du auch erfahren kannst wie du dir eine ext3 partition auf deiner sd anlegst und so den Speicherhunger vieler Apps entgehen kannst.

Hab heute v.6.0 drauf gemacht. Wenn ich jetzt 6.2 drauf mache, brauche ich dies nur mit cwm drüber bügeln und alles is eige beim alten ausser das die version neu ist?

@All: Wenn jetzt ein neues TyphooN raus kommt, wie kann ich dann updaten ohne alles neu installieren und einrichten zu müssen. Die Roms kommen ja fast täglich neu raus

Die zip auf die SD-Karte und dann über CWM installieren!

Alles klar, danke !!! Na und nu noch eine doofe Frage ... wo finde ich bei der hier verwendeten Tastatur eine "Unterstrich"? Ich habe zwar alle möglichen gefunden (Klammern, Punkt, Kome, etc.) aber eben leider keinen Unterstrich.

OkOk ... Android ist richtig cool. Nun habe ich nur noch ein paar kleine Problemchen.

1) bei GPS steht /system/etc/gps.conf configured for US
-> Wie bekomme ich das aus Deutschland?

2) Wie komme ich an meine Speicherkarte um Musik drauf zu spielen?

3) wie ändere ich die Schriftgröße auf dem Desktop (Symbolnamen)

1.) Hier: [HowTo] GPS-fix extrem beschleunigen

2.) Indem du das HD2 per USB mit deinem Rechner verbindest und die Speicherkarte freigibst.

3.) Evtl. bietet der Laucher Einstellungen zu den Schriftgrößen auf den Homescreens, wenn du alles ein wenig kleiner haben möchtest, dann musst du deine build.prop bearbeiten. Zu finden ist diese Datei unter /system, bearbeiten musst du dann die Zeile ro.sf.lcd_density=240, umso kleiner du den Wert wählst, umso kleiner wird alles dargestellt, ich habs bei mir auf 200 stehen.

Danke FreakZ1 !!! Also Punkt 1+2+3 habe ich hinbekommen. Nun habe ich nur noch eine komische Stimme bei Anrufen, lese mich mal weiter durch das Forum, eventuell finde ich den Fehler noch.

Das dürfte die RoboVoice sein.

-Robotic voice with audible touch tones. Enable audible touch tones and then make a call, turn on speaker phone, then turn it off. Make another call and it should be fine. Reboot to save changes.

alles klar ... aber was ist "audible touch tones" und wo finde ich diese Einstellung (das Android ist auf deutsch)?

Das sind die Töne der Telefontastatur!

Mensch bin ich blöde ... stimmt ja, ist ja 1zu1 zu übersetzen. Hab ich gemacht und ... oh Wunder ... ES GEHT !!! Toll, danke !!!

Wollt ma fragen, weil ich das jetzt des öfteren lese und leider nicht aufgelistet ist unter den Abkürzung, was heißt CWR?
