NexusHD2-ICS-CM9 V1.5 is a CM9 Remix ROM based on http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1496152 ICS ROM.
If you prefer a pure CM9 ROM, then consider flashing https://sites.google.com/site/nexush...2-ics-cm9/v1-3 instead.

-Include Android 4.0.3 CM9. (All current CM9 works, Enhanced Power Menu, Power Notification Widget, Trebuchet Launcher, T9 Dialer, etc.)
-Include tytung's 2.6.32.15 ICS kernel r1.
-Include tytung's ICS ramdisk (initrd.gz).
-Include the required proprietary binary files and the HD2-specific files from my AOSP GB ROM (i.e. NexusHD2-Gingerbread).
-Credits: tytung, samuaz, texasice, firesnatch, ankuch, rapmv78, romanbb, marco.palumbi, the CM and Evervolv teams, etc.

Installations:
Please use at least 165MB system partition and at least 2MB cache partition.
Please refer to ksubedi's HD2 NAND Toolkit and/or mskip's guide.
Cache partition (/dev/block/mtdblock4) is only used by CWM.
Cache partition size is not important because the data partition (/dev/block/mtdblock5) is used as the cache space when running Android.
If your HD2 has bad NAND blocks, you may need larger partitions.
Wipe
Wipe Data/Factory Reset while doing a fresh install. (Optional: also delete /sdcard/Android folder or format your SD card if you have any strange issue.)
Advanced -> Wipe Dalvik Cache while upgrading from an old version and wanting to retain data.
Flash this ROM.
MAGLDR: Flash NexusHD2-ICS-CM9_V1.5.zip, then reboot.
　 cLK　 : Flash NexusHD2-ICS-CM9_V1.5.zip and the cLK kernel, then reboot.

Extra Downloads:
Enable/Disable the stock size of the virtual soft keys (i.e. the navigation bar):
Toggle it via "Settings -> Interface -> General Settings -> Show Nav bar" and then "Reboot -> Restart" to take effect.
To fix the overlay of the softkeys and the keyboard, install ICS keyboard from the Market or get the apk here.
About the mobile data connection types: RMNET V.S. PPP.
Bootloader MAGLDR supports both RMNET and PPP. I set RMNET as default for MAGLDR ROM because stock Android only supports RMNET.
Bootloader cLK only supports PPP.
RMNET is more stable than PPP. (Some PPP users have data drop issues.) However PPP may be faster for some users.
Flash RMNET_to_PPP_update.zip if you prefer PPP on MAGLDR.
Flash ICS Softkeys Mod (smaller size of the virtual soft keys) if required.

Downgraded the BCM4329 firmware from v4.218.248.23 to v4.218.248.18 for better WiFi compatibility for some SIM card related country code issue. (The drawback is that I saw some error messages in logcat because the firmware version is mismatched with the kernel bcm4329 driver. It seems not to affect WiFi for me.)
Removed Google Music and included the original Music app.
Included new kernel tytung_ics_r1. Main changes compared to my r14 kernel are as follows.

wie bist du denn genau vorgegangen? bei mir schien alles etwas buggy zu sein. das mit app2sd habe ich auch noch nicht so ganz verstanden

Habs drauf und läuft gut bis auf die bekannten Bugs. App2sd hab ich auch laufen und wenn noch hilfe benötigt wird um das WIE dann einfach kurz melden, dann schreib ich wenn ich kurz zeit hab ne step by step wie ich vorgegangen bin. Aber mal was anderes. Hat jemand mit ICS Navigon laufen? Bei mir gehts wie immer gut aber ich hab jetzt unterhalb der standard systemleiste (mit Uhr, Signalstärke etc.) eine Leiste wie bei einem Windows Fenster in dem nur Navigon mit dem dazugehörigen Icon steht, darunter dann die verbleibenden Kilometer und die Ankunftszeit. Ergo habe ich DREI Leisten im Bild, was das Navigationsbild stark verkleinert. Hat jemand ne Lösung oder Idee? Ansonsten kann ich den Test nur jedem empfehlen der nicht auf Camcorder steht, denn alles andere geht soweit. Man muss zwar noch ein paar Abstriche machen, da zum Beispiel bisher KEIN echtes HW Acceleration funktioniert aber an sich läuft alles was ich getestet habe. Wenn da noch etwas gefeilt, gefixt und geschrieben wird, wird das n echt chices Rom!

Ok super werde es die tage dann auch mal testen. Hast du es als CLK oder MGLDR geflasht?

Hatte es als MAGLDR getestet. Ist schon ganz nett das ganze aber ich bin heute wieder richtig im Beruf zu Kunden unterwegs gewesen und das hängt dann doch ein quäntchen zu viel an ein paar Ecken und enden. Für den stinknormalen alltagsgebrauch ist das sicher ausreichend aber für mich ders den ganzen Tag fast an hat um zu navigieren, Mails zu tippen, Kalendereinträge zu machen und zu synchronisieren und auch gelegentlich mal in den Social Media Netzwerken zu schauen und zu antworten (und ja ganz gelegentlich telefoniere ich auch damit und schreibe sms ) ist das noch etwas zu buggy. Kanns aber jedem der mal testen möchte oder nur durchschnittlich damit arbeitet ans herz legen für dieses frühe stadium ist das Rom klasse! Sobald es ausgereifter ist kehre ich darauf definitiv zurück denn der ICS Launcher ist der erste, der mir auf Anhieb gefällt, sowohl vom aussehen als auch vom Benutzen!

Also ich habe mir jetzt die CLK version geflasht und der erste eindruck ist auf jedenfall positiv mal sehen wie es in ein paar tagen aussieht.

Update hat wunderbar geklappt.

Wie und Was habe ich gemacht.

Als erstes natürlich ein Backup, falls es nicht klappt
dann habe ich die Version 1.1 geflasht danach(bin clk user) den clk Kernel geflasht und auch app2sd neu geflasht.
Nachdem flashen nochmal den dalvik cache gewiped.

Und siehe da, es läuft super und alle meine Einstellungen sind noch vorhanden.

@jrejo: welches clk-layout hast du denn benutzt und woher hast du die clk version? finde im xda-devs thread nur die magldr version

Als Layout habe ich die 200er mit 5 mb cache genommen wie im Thread empfohlen. Benutze immer das HD2 Toolkit.

Und zur Version, man nimmt die Magldr Zip und flasht die und direkt danach flasht man den Clk Kernel.

Wie ist eigentlich die Performance im Vergleich zur Android 2.3.x ?
Funktioniert alles wichtige?

Bin am überlegen ob ich von Hyperdroid mal auf dieser Version update.

Hast du eine komplett cleane Installation gemacht oder Daten von ner alten Androidversion übernommen?

natürlich habe ich bei einem neuem Rom einen Clean install gemacht. Da ich gerne teste, benutze ich immer Titanium Backup für meine Apps.

Zur Performance, läuft alles recht flüssig, und es funktioniert fast alles. Habe es aber auch erst seit gestern drauf, also langzeit ergebnisse kann ich noch nicht geben.

bin auch so ein "Spielkind" und muß "alles" testen
Ein funktionierendes Telefon benötige ich aber auch.

Ich würde die 1.1er Version auch gerne mal installieren.
Allerding blicke ich nicht so ganz, wie das mit den Partitionen funktioniert.
Ich habe aktuell magldr drauf. was muss ich denn jetzt wie Partitionieren, damit alles richtig funktioniert?

Kann es sein das man mit der Kamera keine Barcodes mehr scannen kann?

ist doch prima beschreiben:

- reboot to magldr and enter AD Recovery
- wipe data, cache and dalvik
- if you haven't did it before go to advanced and partition SD card to get ext partition for apps -> 512 -1024 will be enaugh, no need for swap (it will erase all data!)
- install rom
- boot into rom. when on the android wellcome screen (one where you choose language) don't doo anything, just reboot to magldr and enter recovery again
- install 40ad2sdx-a2Recovery.zip
- in advanced options fix permissions
- reboot to system and be happy

genau so hab ich es auch gemacht

dank an jrejo. mittels hd2toolkit ging das flashen (clean installation) zügig von der Hand und die erste Inbetriebnahme des Roms war auch kein Problem. Das Rom lief nach dem ersten Start nicht ganz rund, was ich bei anderen Roms ja auch schonmal hatte... was durch 1-2 reboots meistens behoben war.

Auch hier hab ich nen reboot gemacht. Danach musste ich alle Einstellungen nochmal vornehmen ( Sprache, googlekonto, Wlan). Einstellungen gemacht, Konto synchronisieren lassen, läuft ganz ok. Erneut reboot gemacht und schon wieder sind alle Einstellungen weg. Nochmal eingestellt, reboot, immer das gleiche...

Woran kann das liegen? Besser nochmal task29 und nochmal neu flashen? oder ist das Problem bei euch auch vorhanden? habe allerdings keine ext partition angelegt, weil ich nicht hunderte apps installiere...aber daran kanns doch nicht liegen oder?

edit: wollte gerade titanium backup installieren und bekomme schon die meldung zu wenig speicher...scheinbar liegts wohl doch an der fehlenden ext partition...werd mal nochmal neu flashen

habe mal die Version 1.1 installiert.
Läuft eigentlich ganz gut.
Es ruckelt leicht, wenn man das App Menü aufruft. Das Scrollen im Menü geht aber flott.
Ich finde die Bedienung noch etwas ungewöhnlich. Einige Menüeinträge sind nun an anderen Plätzen zu finden. Da muss man sich ein bisschen umgewöhnen.

Was mich ziemlich nervt: immer wenn man eine App installiert, wird eine Verknüpfung auf dem Homescreen angelegt.
Kann man das irgendwo deaktivieren?
Die vorhandenen Widgets sind auch eher mäßig.
Der Kalender erlaubt nicht mal das Anlegen eines neuen Termins aus dem Widget heraus.
Das Mailwidget aktualisiert sich nicht automatisch und reagiert auch eher träge.

Werde mir wohl doch wieder Launcher Pro drauf machen, damit war ich sehr zufrieden.
Einen richtigen Mehrwert im Vergleich zu Android 2.3 kann ich momentan nicht erkennen
