Installing Update of HD2 CoreDroid Desire HD V**

MAGLDR 1.13 IS MANDATORY TO INSTALL THIS ROM

1. After downloading HD2 CoreDroid DHD V*.*.rar, extract it to a folder on your PC of your choice.
2. Turn your unplugged HD2 on and boot into the MAGLDR 1.13 menu by holding down the power (right) button after initial vibration.
3. Using volume down move to number 5. USB Flasher
4. Push call button (left) and enter the USB flasher screen. You will see “USB Flasher mode Wait USB…”
5. Plug USB cable into the HD2, you should now see “USB Flasher mode Wait USB… USB
6. Go to the extracted HD2 CoreDroid DHD V*.*.rar folder on PC, and execute the DAF.exe. (might need to right click and run as administrator in newer windows versions)
7. Press next twice, and the installation will begin.
8. When finished press finish.
9. After the installation your HD2 will reboot into MAGLDR 1.13 menu.
10. Using the volume down button move to down to number 8. AD Recovery and press call button (left).
11. Your unplugged HD2 will now boot into the ClockworkMod Recovery menu.
12. Using Volume down button move to “-mounts and storage”
13. Press call button (left).
14. Move down to mount USB storage
15. Press call button (left).
16. A new drive should be mounted to your PC.
17. Navigate to My Computer and open the new drive (ex: F: E: G: etc…)
18. Go to the HD2_Core_Droid_Desire_HD_V*.* folder
19. Copy the HD2_Core_DroidDesire_HD_V*.*.zip to the HD2 sd card root (the newly mounted drive ex: F.
20. When finished copying and unmount is selected, press the call button (left).
21. Press the back button
22. Move down to “-install zip from sdcard”, and press call button (left)
23. Move down to “-choose zip from sdcard”, and press call button (left)
24. Select the CoreDroid_V*.*.zip, press call button (left)
25. Wait till it´s finish flashing, you will then see a flashing “CoreDroid”. Flash options will reappear.
26. Push end button (right).
27. Select “Reboot system now”
28. Let HD2 reboot giving it time. Wait at least +/- 10 minutes.

Once the phone has booted, let the syncs take place, wait for about 20 minutes, then reboot.

14. Advance down to Partition SD Card menu.
15. Select minimum (512m) maximum (1024m). Your choice which one to use. Recommended is the 1024m, then press call button (left).
16. Select the 0m with the call button (left).
17. Wait until the process is finished.
18. Do not reboot! Stay in the ClockworkMod Recovery.
19. When finished “done” will appear in the lower half of the screen.
20. Press right button.
21. Using Volume down button move to “-mounts and storage”
22. Press end button (right).
23. Move down to mount USB storage
24. Press call button (left).
25. A new drive should be mounted to your PC.
26. Navigate to MyComputer and open the new drive (ex: F: E: G: etc…)
27. Go to the HD2_Core_Droid_Desire_HD_V1.12 folder
28. Copy the HD2_Core_DroidDesire_HD_V1.12.zip to the HD2 sd card root (the new mounted drive ex: F.

Es sieht nach tausend Schritten aus....ist aber nicht so. Ist nur absolut detailiert erklärt.

Das Rom ist eine Ecke schneller wie das 1,5´er. Probiert es aus. Einige Dinge sind verbessert.

Hinweis: Für die User, die von 1.4 auf 1.6 updaten wollen. Das geht ohne Probleme.

Was ich so mitverfolgt habe warten sicher schon einige auf das Update, obwohl ich schon gar nicht mehr weiss, wie Sense aussieht, ein Manko war ja die Geschwindigkeit des letzten Roms. Also, das Warten hat ein Ende.

Bleiben bei einem Update von 1.5 auf 1.6 alle Daten/Einstellungen und Apps erhalten ?

So, nach zwei Tagen Nutzung:
Batterieverhalten: gut (1-3mAh)
Touchverhalten besser
Programme starten schneller.
kleiner Optische Dinge verändert
das Disp scheint noch klarer zu sein
Rundrum gelungen aus meiner Subjektiven Sich und meinen Anwendungen.

Die einzige Frage, die sich mir Momentan stellt: warum wird das Disp gedimmt, wenn im Entwicklermodus "Aktiv bleiben" angeklickt ist. Da bin ich noch nicht hintergekommen.7

Ich muss zugeben. ich war früher eher ein Gegner der Android ROMS. Das sehe ich heute anders, wenn man mit dem Permanenten Datenaustausch von Goggle und Konsorten auskommt.

Ich habe dieses Rom jetzt auch mehrere Tage im Einsatz. Kann mich da nur anschließen - sehr schnelles und stabiles Rom. Um einiges besser als die 1.5 Version und deutlich fixer. Sense und die Htc-Widgets lassen keine Wünsche offen.

Bin bis jetzt total begeistert und habe noch keinen Fehler gefunden.

Hatte ich auch. Bei mir konnte ich erst DFT nicht isntallieren, hab den schritt übersprungen. Falls das bei dir auch der fall war musst du vorher Magdlr113 neu installieren
und dann einfach nochmal nach der Anleitung vorgehen =D

Gibt Probleme bei der USB Anbindung als Festplatte.
Die Verbindung bricht andauernd ab und Android startet sich neu.
Echt ärgerlich sowas.

Hallo, eigentlich ist das build ja super aber was mich tierisch nerft, ist die empfidlichkeit vom htc Lockscreen.
Wenn das Handy in der Tasche ist und ein Anruf kommt und ich es aus der Tasche ziehe entlockt es sich. Hat da jemand ein Vorschlag wie ich es ändern kann. Ich hab auch schon versucht eiin anderen Lockscreen zu instalieren geht leider nicht. HILFE!

Habe mit der 1.6 Version nur Probleme
Hatte auch alle vorherigen Versionen, die zwar mal einen kleinen Bug hatten, aber so schlimm war es noch nie - Update schlug fehl (HTC Sense konnte nicht gestartet werden).
Daher habe ich eine völlige Neuinstallation gemacht - hat aber auch nicht wirklich geholfen - bis zum Unlocken der SIM geht alles problemlos, aber dann bei der Einrichtung sagt er schon, dass das Gingerbread Keyboard nicht geladen werden konnte. Dann kann ich das aber wegklicken und die Einrichtung beenden. Wenn es dann aber zum Starten kommen soll, kann wiederum nicht die HTC Sense Oberfläche gestartet werden und ich habe nur den weißen Screen mit HTC drauf, worüber die Fehlermeldung steht - darüber seh ich noch die Statusanzeige mit Batterie etc. Das war es dann leider auch.

Jemand eine Idee?

Habt Ihr die DAF.EXE vorher ausgeführt und die Rom Datei so rüber kopiert wir oben beschrieben?

Die vorherrige 1.5 konnte als Update aufgespielt werden ohne die DAF.EXE So stand es zumindest damals auf Sergios HP. Hat auch bei mir funktioniert.
Das gleiche habe ich auch mit der 1.6 gemacht und nur Probleme gehabt. Erst eine saubere Installation mit der DAF.EXE und die ROM Datei nochmal rüberkopiert (Beschreibung erster Thread) hat dann funktioniert.
Noch eine Empfehlung: Virenscanner abschalten.

Ich habe genau das gleiche Problem.
Ich habe sogar in der Hosentasche Anrufe entgegengenommen und nichts davon mitbekommen.


GPS-Fix geht entweder beim v1.6 schnell oder das App "FasterFix" hat wirklich geholfen.

Mein grösstes Problem mit der CoreDroid ROMs:
Die Leute, mit denen ich telefoniere, beschwerden sich über die Geschpräch-Qualität. Ich höre sie gut, aber sie hören mich nicht so klar. Ich habe getestet und gebe ihnen recht.

Ja, ich habe die DAF.exe ausgeführt und es genau wie in der Anleitung beschrieben durchgeführt - sowohl für das Update, als auch für die Neuinstallation.
Habe auch schon verschiedene USB-Port probiert etc - aber einen Erfolg hatte ich einfach nicht und habe dann gestern Nacht nach 5 h einfach aufgegeben. Aber es muss doch einen Grund geben?

Leider hat bei mir das Update auf 1.6 nichts gebracht. Der Näherungssensor schaltet das Display leider nicht wieder ein, wenn ich das Telefon vom Ohr weg nehme. Außerdem dauert das "Aufwecken" aus dem Standby-Modus mit der Power-Taste mehrere Sekunden, bzw. funktioniert häufig nicht beim ersten mal.

Sehr schade. Ich hoffe nun, auf ein baldiges Release der Gingerbread-Version für das HD2.

PS: Benötige ich das GPS-Fix tatsächlich für das 1.6 Update??

Nein, das habe ich auch nicht geschrieben

Bei mir dauerte das GPS-Fix lang bei v1.5, seit v1.6 oder eventuell seit FasterFix App dauert es nicht mehr lang.
Beim FasterFix kann man das Region auswählen, wo man sich befindet. Nord Amerika, Europa, Deutschland usw.

Lade doch die Version nochmal neu runter. Nichts das beim Download Dir ein Virenscanner oder ähnliches einen Streich gespielt hat.
Bei mir läuft alles Einwandfrei. GPS habe ich noch nicht probiert. Da hatte ih bereits bei dr 1,5´er aber Probleme.
