Wenn WhatsApp jetzt clever wäre (und das sind sie eigentlich), dann müssten die eigentlich schon an der "Video-Implementierung" arbeiten! Das Ganze dann zeitgleich auf alle 4 verbreitetsten Platformen mit ner neuen Version und schwupps - glotzen alle anderen in die Röhre!

Niemand zwingt dich irgendwelche Apps auf dem Telefon zu installieren. Mich nervt zum Beispiel diese grundsätzliche "Dagegensein-Mentalität". Es schadet NIE Alternativen zu haben.

Dabei übernimmt Viber alle Nummern und Namen aus dem Adressbuch und speichert sie auf eigenen Servern. Auf diese Weise landen allerdings Daten von unbeteiligten Dritten massenhaft bei Viber. quelle: die zeit (link siehe oben)

Yes, it is true that we have 50 million users. Even significantly more by today (we have a steady growth of user base every day).

Let's be accurate please
What we said is that the fact that we collect information is not different from major communication apps today. However, regardless of what's happening in other companies, we have officially and legally committed not to sell, deliver or misuse our users' information. So our users have nothing to worry about

Viber is based in Cyprus with development facilities in Israel and Belarus. Servers are all over the world, but the ones storing the data (the "database") are in the USA.

So can you tell us more about the Windows Phone development about Viber? A release date would be cool.

Unfortunately we still can't guarantee an exact release date, and that's due to the fact that obstacles may still arise before the official release. We can say, however, that if all goes as planned, Viber for Windows Phone [beta] should be released within the next few weeks

@Viber - is there anything you can show us, like, a screenshot of the app or something along these lines? Would make us salivate even more

Da kommt doch nichts mehr..

Mit der kostenlosen PocketPC.ch App von meinem LG-E900 aus geschrieben.

Wartet doch einfach mal ab, es kommt, wenn es kommt... dadurch wirds auch nicht schneller und da einem seit Wochen sowieso immer wieder das Gleiche versprochen wird.... am besten sollte man von Seiten Vibers auch mal diesen unnötigen Satz lassen "few weeks" "few weeks" "few weeks", kanns nicht mehr hören...

PS: Eben getestet. Die Live Tile Funktionen sind so geil, dass immer die neue Nachricht angezeigt wird. Auf der "Rückseite" steht die letzte Nachricht oder das letzte Ereignis. Einfach geil!

finde es ja total nett das man push deaktivieren kann

tolles app..nur haben es leider viel zu wenig leute....also weiterhin bei whatsapp bleiben..

die app ist echt nur was für leute die keine flat fürs telefonieren haben, alles andere kann kik und whatsapp besser
