Stand Glympse und Sportypal

Da ich Glympse (sowas wie Google Latitude) und Sportypal von WM 6.5 doch sehr vermisse, hab ich mal wieder nachgeguckt, ob es was neues gibt, und siehe da, es sieht nicht schlecht aus.

Beim Glympse steht im Twitter vom 10. März, dass im März die private Beta kommt.

Bei Sportypal im Forum ist zwar ein alter Eintrag, aber zumindest wurde bereits gegen Ende Januar mit der Programmierung angefangen.

Development of the WP7 version has begun, we've been experimenting around and got the first screen up and running. Its far from finished though, and it may take some time: it wont be released together with the official release of iPhone, Android and Blackberry versions...

Zu Glympse: Die App ist schon seid längerem in den USA erhältlich, aber außerhalb der Vereinigten Staaten wollen die nicht so recht (Guck mal auf deren Twitter-account, da gibts etliche Anfragen).
Mit einem ungelockten Handy kann man sich die App mit entsprechenden Tools übrigens ohne Probleme ziehen und installieren.

we are sorry for the delays and our development politics but decision to slower development for Windows mobile is base one many factors:

-First of all Sportypal project for Windows Mobile 7 started almost two years ago. On the Barcelona World Mobile Congress (February 2010 we met Microsoft people show them WinMo 6.1 version and they promised support for both WinMo 6.1(6.5) version and most important for us support for New Windows OS at that time (there were no official name).

But just right after the Congress they disappear, no contacts, they change people responsible for cooperation, we couldn't even post our old WinMo app on the ,market because Microsoft policy to not allow companies out of US to publish on their market. All other companies (Google, Apple, BB, Nokia allow us to post our software on their stores just Microsoft doesn't. They are slowest company in the world regarding opening shops to other regions.....even as free application you can upload there just from selected countries.

The second reason is that lot really lot of our existed WinMo costumers change platform some of them went to OS some of them to Android. Existed Windows Mobile marked cap is less then 2%.

Lack of promised support from Microsoft (even last year Sportypal were among three best WinMo app) and slow development of Microsoft Mobile market are biggest reason why we are slow.

Definitively we didn't hands off from Windows Mobile but we will wait just a little bit to see how all situation will going further.

Zusammengefasst: Auf unbestimmte Zeit verschoben...

Da bekommt MS es aber ganz dicke ab! *gg* Soviel also zum super Support, den MS für sich immer propagiert.

Hab jetzt mal Glympse auf meine Wp8 installiert. Warum kann ich es nicht auf dem Lamia 710 installieren? Liegt das am ram oder so.
