Glückwunsch zu den großartigen Benchmarkergebnissen, Sascha.
Muss man nur aufpassen, weil je öfters man Quadrant hintereinander durchlaufen lässt, je höher steigt auch die Punktezahl.
Benchmarks sind eben nur eine grobe Richtlinie für den Performancestand.
Die wahren "Benchmarks" sind der allgemeine und alltägliche Gebrauch mit dem Gerät.
Dennoch möchte ich Dir Deine Werte nicht kaputtreden. ;)

some patches applied: posix-timers: RCU convention [Eric Dumazet], Fixed ext4 disk write performance regression
default i/o scheduler set to cfq (some of my friends think it is working better with 1080p recording and it is set as default by the stock kernel). I am still using sio FYI.
kernel config changes
reverted all changes in arm platform sources
removed all unsafe optimization flags
disabled tvout. I will convert it to module later.

Die guten Werte sind auch weniger meine Leistung, sondern fast ausschließlich auf den Kernel zurückzuführen. Denn außer dem Wechsel zum Siyah-Kernel habe ich praktisch alles "Stock" (bis auf die Übertaktung). Somit müsste praktisch jeder Siyah-Kernel-Nutzer diesen hohen Score erreichen können :-)
Im alltäglichen Gebrauch kann man über die Geschwindigkeit des Kernels auch nicht meckern, da ist alles flüssig und ohne Lags, wie man es vom Galaxy S2 kennt. Bis auf die Reboots, die ich in der aktuellen Version manchmal noch habe, ist er ansonsten sehr zu empfehlen. Relativ schonend für den Akku (bei den richtigen Einstellungen), schnell und mit nützlichen Funktionen bezüglich OC und UV.

Die Bootloops sind nun mit der 2.2beta3 beseitigt.
Mit der KJ4 läuft es im Moment perfekt.
Was mich etwas wundert, ist, dass die neuen Betas wesentlich kleiner sind als die Version 2.1.1... Vielleicht wage ich mich später auch mal an die neue 2.2beta3. Aber erstmal teste ich die 2.1.1 weiter und berichte über meine Erfahrungen ;-)
Ist die KJ4 denn schon kompatibel mit JKay Deluxe (offiziell ja noch nicht)? Das habe ich mir heute installiert und möchte es nicht mehr missen.

Obgleich es keine Pflicht für Dich ist, darfst Du Dich dennoch gern dazu animiert fühlen.
Wenn wir das nicht schaffen, kann Pocketpc.ch auch gleich zu Tante Google umgeleitet werden.
Das sollte aber auf keinen Fall so sein. Wir haben doch ein tolles Forum gemeinsam erschaffen.

re-enabled tvout. it seems that many people use that functionality so I will keep it enabled until I finish making MHL a module.
disabled USB_SEC_WHITELIST in v2.2. I don’t remember when I have enabled it again. I will just comment it out in Kconfig to prevent this mistake again :)

added support for tegrak secondcore application (thanks to tegrak) more info: https://market.android.com/details?i...rak.secondcore . You can greatly improve your battery life by disabling the second core and enable it back when you need it.
added cwmmanager3 (thanks to chainfire)
initramfs changes to move busybox and su to /system/xbin
CONFIG_NETFILTER_XT_MATCH_OWNER activated to enable the use of orbot / tor. (thanks to olifee@XDA. This changelog should have been in the previous release but I could not get it running. Fortunately,he found a way to get it running. see his post if you want to have orbot running)

Also jetzt hab ich ein Problem mit derBeta 5. Total laggy.
Bin jetzt erstmal zurück auf die Beta 4.
Die ist richtig gut mit Goa 1.6.
Mit der Beta 5 komm ich fast nimmer vorwärts in meinen Menüs usw. Gefühlte 2-3 Sekunden bis eine Reaktion kommt. Scrollen nur noch im Schneckentempo.
evtl. hilfts ja den Governor umzustellen?!
Kann ich nicht verstehen die Beta5 läuft absolut Super und das mit dem 2core app ist Genial ich kann noch nicht genau sagen ob es so sparsamer ist aber bis jetzt noch kein Prozent Akku verloren seit 20 min im Netz und Display an mal sehen wie es sich verhält und die Performance ist gefühlt gleich wie mit zweien .

Ich habe seit 1 std den Kernel, und bis jetzt keine lags.
Auch Cr+ icv3.
Ich werde aber ein teufel tun und einz von kerns abschalten. Ich habe nicht umsonst sgs2 geholt, eben wegen die 2 Kerne. Zum Glück kann man selbst entscheiden :D

Changelog:
fixed the lag in dynamic hotplug mode (a problem in new workqueue implementation).
increased the “second-core-kick-in” threshold to save battery. previous value was 50, new value is 70, original value in samsung kernel is 60. you will hardly notice the difference but the benchmarks may notice it. if you want higher scores you can always use tegrak’s 2nd core app to enable the second core. Maybe I will make it customizable before v2.2 release.
increased the fps limit in the camera driver (30 to 120). I hope that the one who sent me a PM about this modification can manage to use it to have better image or video quality.
disabled ramfs “tweak/cheat/whatever” in quadrant benchmark. If I knew how to make it worse I would do it to let quadrant-slaves go away.
removed a (part-of) patch that enables the second core as soon as you turn the screen on. we don’t want to waste more battery and that may be the reason of some SOD problems.

Changelog:
added Cyanogenmod native led notifications (thanks to DvTonder). You may need to install CM7 again as my previous kernels were copying liblights over the original one. From this version on it will be copied only on samsung roms.
reverted back to TREE_RCU
updated AOSP part of the initramfs to cm7-nightly-111.
some usb driver modifications. I tested adb, usb mass storage (mounting both internal&external storage) and OTG in samsung and cm7 roms (both with and without usb debugging enabled). I hope there is no more usb problems.
auto-installation of ntfs-3g. it will be copied to /system/xbin.

-read-only auto-mounting of ntfs volumes to /mnt/usb/[partitionName] folder. it is readonly because I have no control from the kernel side to “click here to safely remove” feature. if you want to mount them read-write, use your own script to remount them and don’t forget to unmount before removing the device. you can find ntfs-3g in /system/xbin after installing this kernel. mounting ntfs in read/write mode and removing it safely will be supported by the tool (application) that I am working on.

Changelog:
-reverted usb changes. sorry, I do not have enough time to resolve problems for
both samsung and aosp roms. therefore, I reverted the changes to beta6 where
samsung roms have no problems. AOSP part can live with that state I think.
-enabled SCHED_MC for arm topology and set the level to 2 (highest). If you
don’t like it you can disable it by : “echo 0 > /sys/devices/system
/cpu/sched_mc_power_savings”. SCHED_MC helps reducing the usage of the
second core under load, therefore reduces the power consumption. You will not
notice any change when your device is deep sleep and it is not something to
replace cpu hotplug. It will probably increase the total time of active usage such
as surfing or listening to music. Please report your experience but do not report
overnight battery consumption :p
-fixed CM7 built in BLN notification.
-changed mount point of external sd to /mnt/sdcard/external_sd for AOSP ROMs
(just like in samsung roms) because CWM app checks for external sd backups
in that location. I have also created symbolic links in /mnt/emmc and /emmc
just in case some other app requires them.
known issues:
1. only external sd is mounted over usb in CWM recovery.
2. …new items will be added to this list until a new beta is released.

suppressed only for CM7 and derivatives.
DarkKnight edition is a safer version which doesn’t let you change some values (freq or voltage) that will make your device unstable (for instance, you cannot undervolt or overvolt your device more than 100mV per step, i.e. it is not possible to set 1200MHz voltage value to 900mV). So, if you don’t know how things work you better use DarkKnight edition. It is aimed for stability and battery life. The default i/o scheduler is noop and cpu governor is lulzactive@100-1200. Some experimental features may be disabled in DarkKnight editions.
Eigene Scripte im Ordner etc/init.d sollte man vorm Flashen dieses Kernels löschen!!!!
