Da ich das Rom echt klasse finde habe ich mich entschieden einen Neuen Thread dafür aufzumachen.
Die Update Zeit ist im Moment echt Wahnsinn. Ich komme fast nicht nach mit dem Flashen.

Nach meiner Erfahrungen funktioniert das Rom am besten wenn man zuvor alles Wiped, sprich System, Cache und Dalvik, auch wenn man von der Vorgängerversion kommt.
Dazu nie vergessen die externe Speicherkarte sollte vorher raus.
Ich benutze mittlerweile vor dem Flashen immer noch das Kernel Cleaner Script.
Im Moment rennt alles fehlerfrei

- some changes to idle2 code, to make it save more battery (thx to thalamus)
- lock_scaling_min by default activated to prevent the cpu from always being running at 200 mhz minimum (thx to stratosk)
- added live_oc and lock_scaling_min to initramfs, for applying them at boot
- liveoc value can be changed with this file: /data/local/devil/live_oc_value, just write a value between 90 and 150 into it, to apply live_oc at next boot
- target_low can be changed with this file: /data/local/devil/live_oc_target_low, values can be set between 100000 (this means 100 mhz) and 1400000
- target_high: be changed with this file: /data/local/devil/live_oc_target_high, values can be set between 100000 (this means 100 mhz) and 1400000
- config of lock_scaling_min can be set here: /data/local/devil/lock_sc_min, where a value of 0 means, that the freq is not locked to min, and 1 means the lowest freq gets locked to 100 mhz

- wipe data/factory reset
- flash initial package (this installes just a i9000 kernel for resizing the partitions)
- reboot recovery (for captivate and vibrant, some keys now might work differently)
- flash helly_bean_basement (this is all the same for all devices)
- flash helly_bean_xxx (where xxx stands for your device, this installs all device specific files + kernel)

Irgendwie klappt das bei mir nicht. Ich lande jedes mal wieder im Recoverymenü. Was läuft da falsch. Jetzt habe ich schon JW1 komplett neu installiert und von da angefangen. Ich mache alles so wie beschrieben und es haut nicht hin. Wie gaht das?

Bin jetzt ohne Probleme wieder auf Team-Nyx umgestiegen. Das hat beim ersten mal geklappt.

Die HellyBean Installation ist wirklich kompliziert. Und ich bin wirklich kein Anfänger. Man muss 4 Dateien flashen und landet immer wieder im CWM. Da sollten sich die Jungs mal was bei Team-Nyx abschauen. Das ist eh sehr ähnlich. Ich würde HB gern ausprobieren wenn es sich dann installieren lässt ohne wieder 4 Stunden meines Schlafes zu opfern.

BTW: Ich hatte kein Problem die 3 Dateien zuvor nacheinander zu installieren. Hat auch nicht viel länger gedauert. Wenn es 2 Minuten mehr waren war es viel.

Hat einfach nicht geklappt bei mir. Ich habe es drei mal versucht. Immer wieder Bootloop. Vielleicht versuche ich die neue Version mit einer Datei noch mal irgendwann.

Mit der Datei hat es geklappt. Jetzt suche ich noch mein ganzes Googelgeraffel. Kontakte, Termine usw. Ich hoffe es ist in den AdOns.

Hat alles geklappt. Aber leider muß ich sagen, daß es kein Vergleich zu dem Rom von Team Nyx ist. Das hier ist im Gegensatz dazu echt lahm. Es sind zwar ein paar nette Features enthalten aber die wiegen den müden Gesamteindruck nicht auf. Schade. Ich habe wenigstens getestet. Ich bleibe beim Nyx.

habe es jetzt noch mal am laufen. Leider musste ich heute feststellen, dass Wifi-Direct nicht funktioniert. Funzt es bei jemanden? Oder gibt es einen Patch dafür?

habs nun auch mal getestet, im ganzen bisher ganz nett, wobei sich nun doch probleme eingeschlichen haben..

was größeres wäre; dass sich das gerät ausschaltet, eigentlich nur wenn bildschirmsperre angeht.. habs zwar nun einige male über diverse einstellungen geprüft, aber nichts finden können..

andere geschichte, dass z.b. whatsapp das gerät nicht erkennt.. ka was da los ist

so.. und nachdem ich versucht hab das neuste update hier zu flashen, seitdem funzt garnichts mehr !
nach mehreren versuchen über neu-flash, von stock, über goa (wie ichs vorher hatte als es noch lief), zur helly bean.. zwar wird die installation als beendet angezeigt, nur sobald ich n reboot mache, lande ich nur im recovery.. seit stunden bereits das problem

Hatte ich auch kurz. Daraufhin habe ich alles gewiped und permissions gefixed und das ganze nochmals drüber installiert. Das hat wohl irgendetwas mit dem geänderten Partitionsformat zu tun

Habe gestern version vom 12.10 geflasht, laeuft bei mir prima und hat auch gleich einige bugs gefixt,
z.b. einen reboot wenn das telefon an den computer angeschlossen wurde...
batterie laufzeit hat sich auch verbessert, (Governor: Lulzactiv, I/O: sio
Kann dieses rom nur empfehlen, zumal es so aussieht als ob andere roms, ausser dieses und CM10,
nicht mehr weiterentwickelt werden.

Ja das stimmt, Devils Romm wird alle paar Tage geupdated. Nun sind wir schon bei einer Version vom 14.10.

Das mit dem Governor Lulzactiv probiere ich doch gleich mal aus. Hatte bisher SmartassV2 und Wheatley

ich würde es gern mal testen (bin z.zt. auf alliance v1 2.3.6), aber weis nicht genau, ob's für mich schon alltagstauglich ist, sprich das weitesgehend ales funktioniert, wie audio, bt, wlan, gps, etc...

Hmmm, bei manchen gehts und bei manchen nicht. Das hatten wir aber schon fast immer so, da scheinbar die gleiche Hardware oftmals nicht gleich ist
Audio, Bt, Wlan etc. funktionieren bei mir. GPS werde ich später mal testen.

Ich habe Gestern Abend mich via GPS und Google Maps nach Hause führen lassen. Das lief absolut ohne Probleme ab.

Allerdings hatte ich im Vorfeld nochmal meine GPS Einstellungen angeschaut (unter Einstellungen - Standortzugriff) und habe dort unter der Einstellung GPS Quelle, Interne GPS Antenne angeklickt da diese nicht ausgewählt war. Dazu habe ich mir auch noch die App GPS Status aus Google Play installiert und über diese die aktuellen A-GPS-Hilfsdateien geladen (unter Werkzeuge), welche ja das finden des GPS beschleunigen sollte. Ich weiss nicht ob es ohne das ganze so reibungslos funktioniert hätte.

Bluetooth über Autoradio lief auch ohne Probleme, sowohl Musik wie auch Telefon.
