A new version with a new Base is out, the Elite V9.1 Beta. For making easier the use of each version, a new thread has been started

I'm not the developer of this great ROM. But I consider that it's so good that it must appear in the XDA forum. The developer is ELITE, and he has authorized to me for uploading. I think that everybody would have the opportunity of knowing it.

Until now, this is a Beta development, and each version is incorporating different kind of improvements. Sometimes the ROM control is in on the versions, sometimes is AOKP, sometime Codename, sometimes the Toggles and Dialer T9 are incorporated, others not. It's very important to understand this. Surely this is the best ROM ever for SGS, but now is under development, and we all must understand this. If you like a concrete Beta version, maybe you must keep on that until a RC is out.

This V9.1 Beta incorporates great technical improvements that makes that our SGS works as never before, and although it's a Beta for daily use, it's a little more rude than others (i.e beta V6). You must be conscius of this

In the follow links you can see and get this new ROM, developed under the NEXUS base IMM76DB (4.0.4) for Galaxy S. This ROM is LITE, basic, only the ROM and each user should add the apps they wish

Installation instructions (IF YOU COME FROM AN ICS ROM IT'S NOT NECESSARY THE STEPS 1 TO 4, YOU CAN START ON 5) Nothing special must be done for flashing, this ROM is as other ICS roms

1 Keep a copy of efs folder for security
2 Reboot in recovery and data factory (it's not obligated, but could be interesting to format all from mount/storage)
3 Turn off the phone and restart download mode.
4 Put the ROM JVU (http://hotfile.com/dl/140301534/be88...U_OXA.rar.html Password: samfirmware.com) from in download mode from odin with marked repartition and reboot the mobile. Shut it off and reboot in download mode again, from odin flash now cf-root on pda without repartition (http://download.chainfire.eu/132/CF-....3-CWM3RFS.zip)
5 Once mobile is restarted, we debug (this is very important, you must mark debug on in the SGS) and copy the "4.0.4 beta" in the internal sd and reboot in recovery.
6 Wipe factory reset, cache partition, Dalvik cache and we flash "4.0.4 beta"
7 If do not start, press the 3 button to return to recovery and repeat step 6.
8 Open the app NSTools and select as governor and Scheduler Smartassv2 VR or that you like.
9 Enjoy ..

TO MAKE VIBER WORKS Thanks to mcse_hst and thaidroid

- Modify build prop (i.e with Root Explorer, it is in System dir and with R/O) and replace "GT-I9000" to "SGH-I9000"

Falls Probleme auftauchen sollten mit Wifi (an/aus/an/aus.....)
den Patch "no deep Idle" per CWM flashen, vorher wipe Dalvik.
Oder den Kernel Midnight BigMem flashen, dann verschwindet der Spuk auch

Jemand schon ausprobiert?

Habe es eben installiert, hatte keine probleme und zu meiner grossen ueberaschung wurden am anfang alle apps die ich auf dem vorhergehenden rom drauf hatte installiert, wie geil ist das denn... ueber die performance und den akku verbrauch kann ich noch nicht so viel sagen, leider hat man nicht so viele einstellungs moeglichkeiten wie bei anderen ics roms. Vieleicht wechsle ich mal den kernel.
Muss mich da aber noch etwas mehr informieren wie das geht...
