Ein Entwickler aus der Tschechei, bietet ein RAM Manager App an, welches beste Optimierungen für die Ramverwaltung auf Android Geräten verspricht.

Dabei ist es natürlich kein Taskkiller, sondern optimiert den OOM_ADJ (Out of memory) Prozess, den LMK (Lowmemorykiller) und die VM (Virtual machine).

Every process has value which gives the kernel a hint, which process it can kill in an OOM (out of memory) situation.

Android needs to have running applications in foreground because of fast switching between your applications. It means that it's not good if you have too much more free memory. Your system gives you so much memory as you need.

VM (Virtual Machine)
Works with file cache, amount of data, dirty data in memory. We managed them by setting the SWP(swappiness), VCP(vfs_cache pressure), DEC(dirty expire centisecs), DWC(drity writeback centisecs), DRA(dirty ratio), DBR(dirty background ratio) and drop caches and we found the best optimization of these values to make several option for different using your phone. Basically it controls in general whole system speed, speed of launching applications, browsing files, switching speed through applications, overall process of the application and battery endurance.

Wie sollte man diese App denn am besten einstellen? Ist ja leider mal wieder alles nur auf englisch.

Ja englisch, ich würde es erst mal mit den oberen Einstellungen Probieren.
Nicht gleich volle Kanne. Denn im Gegensatz zu den meisten anderen Android Geräten, haben wir schon genug RAM.

könnt ihr irgendwelche änderungen/verbesserungen feststellen?

lohnt sich der kauf?

sagen wir mal so, wenn ich merke, dass Gerät wird "liecht" träge und dann auf den benutzten RAM schaue, waren es immer an die 600 MB belegt.
Bei 300-500 läuft's fixer.
Von dem her wird's was bringen. Allerdings bräuchte man dafür nur den lowmemorykiller in der build.prop zu ändern.
Die anderen Sachen, die das App macht, konnte ich aus Zeitmangel noch nicht überprüfen.

hab das mal installiert. aber in der Free Version. Hab danach mein Handy nicht mehr aufwecken können. Bei der Free Version gibt es ja nur die eine Option, hab die ausgeführt ohne den Hacken bei Non-Killable launcher. Das Problem ist natürlich nicht direkt aufgetreten, jedoch konnte ich weder per Home oder Powerbutton das Handy aufwecken. Naja hab nen Neustart gemacht (lange den Powerbutton drücken) und dann mal den Hacken bei Non-Killable Launcher gemacht, mal schauen wie es sich dann verhält.

Vor allem für Dein Gerät sollte es stark was bringen

ja bis jetzt funktioniert es mit Hacken bei non killable launcher. ja hab auch atm nix zu meckern. Mein auch das es bissel flüssiger läuft, kann ich mir aber auch einbilden. Wobei ich nicht weiss wie es sich auf Cm7 mit dem Glitch Kernel auf High Leakage auswirkt. Bzw. ob es da überhaupt was bringt.

Lohnt sich der kauf auch ohne übermäßig viel Zeit in die Einstellungen zu investieren?

Ich hab schon längere Zeit den Auto Kill Pro / Pro zu laufen ...
und weiss nicht ob dann diese "Optimierungs App" dann überflüssig währe.
Gibt da Erfahrungswerte??

Ich habe die App seit langem schon und ich bin damit zufrieden. Runterladen, installieren und gewünschten Modus einstellen und die App macht das was sie sollte. Etwas mehr leistung spürt man schon, aber hofft nicht auf x Stunden mehr laufzeit

Ich finde es lohnt für Leute, die viel Multitasking machen.
Ansonsten reicht ein Abyss oder Franko Kernel bestens.

Gut --- Cheffe ich bin auch so zufrieden ... in der ICE freien Zone

Das gleiche gilt für mich, notfalls reicht auch ein neustart.
