Mobile ODIN updated to v4.00
Lots of new stuff, please read the entire post!
Device support
Support has been added for the S4 and Note3 on the new Android 4.4 with the new bootloaders. This took quite some time and effort, as especially the Note3 has a number of new protections.
Sprint, T-Mobile, US Cellular and Canadian S4 and Note3 models are now also supported on 4.3. The S4 models were already supported on older versions, but Note3 support is completely new.
Note that I have not been able to personally test those American S4 and Note3 variants (so be sure to give feedback in the XDA thread). They will also most likely require another update to work on official 4.4 firmwares when those come out, so be sure to inform me (in the XDA thread) about those new firmwares when they become available.
Modem flashing
An often-reported issue with the latest family of Samsung devices is that flashing may freeze when protected partitions are being written to, resulting in a soft-bricked device. The modem partitions are an example of such protected partitions.
Code has been added that attempts to detect if those protections are enabled, and if so, will skip flashing the affected partition and emit an on-screen warning.
You can generally work around those protections by using Triangle Away to reset the binary status and counter (system status is not so important).
It is certainly still possible to flash complete firmwares and modems using Mobile ODIN, the conditions just need to be right.
Upgrading between Android revisions
It is not uncommon that if the you're upgrading to a new firmware with a new Android version that you need to flash bootloaders, trustzone, etc. before the firmware will boot. Mobile ODIN does not flash those partitions, so you need desktop ODIN for that.
A feature has been added to boot into download mode after the Mobile ODIN flash. You can use this to flash the new firmware (with EverRoot enabled), follow by a boot to download mode to flash a modified package with only the bootloaders (and trustzone and such, but not system), followed by a reboot to recovery to apply the CSC, finally followed by the full Android boot.
That way you can upgrade Android versions and bootloaders while staying rooted. Providing the new Android version doesn't actually break the included root, of course.
Other stuff
The included SuperSU has been updated to v1.89 with support for the new Samsung 4.4 firmwares.
A much reported issue regarding files on the external sdcard not being visible from Mobile ODIN should also be fixed.
Shouting at me
