Visual Studio 2008 unter Vista und Installationprobleme

Hi,
also ich versuche nunmehr, VS2008 unter Vista zu installieren, was jedoch immer wieder fehl schlägt. Das Language Pack fürs .net Framework 2.5 sp1 kann nicht installiert werden, setup.exe verursacht einen Fehler und wird geschlossen. Dies übrigens auch mit einem separaten Download, also nicht nur die Installation des Language Packs von der DVD.
Ich habe schon diverses versucht, auch das ganze Framework deinstalliert und neu installiert. Habt ihr noch Ideen?

hast Du schon probiert die Prerequisites im WCU Verzeichnis zu installieren, v.A. .net Framework 3.5 (evt. grad 3.5 sp1 installieren), Document Explorer 08?

Leider ja. genau die schmieren ja ab

Hast Du eventlog Einträge oder logfiles?
Welche Prerequiste kommen nicht drauf?

Versuch mal den Inhalt der DVD lokal zu kopieren und installiere document explorer 08 manuel:

WCU\DExplore\DExplore.exe

Ich habe es lokal. die ISO (MSDNAA) auf den Desktop entpackt.
aber genau so von der DVD geht es nicht.
