Dies ist eine Teamleistung von allen Mitglieder im codefireX TEAM, sowie vieler anderer Entwickler und Anwender in der Android Community.
Der Kernel ist per Default auf STOCK, aber die meisten anderen angepasster Kernel, in diesem Forum ,sollten funktionieren.

Im Gegensatz zu einigen anderen JellyBean ROMs in diesem Forum, glaube ich, dass alle Nutzer genau wissen sollten, was in / für das ROM verwendet wird. Das ist Grund, warum der Entwickler alle Veränderungen in der Bedienung und Wartung für alle versucht, sichtbar zu machen. Die codefireX Source Links findet ihr über den Download-Link. Bitte fragt nicht nach, warum alle vordefinierten oder proprietäre Anwendungen in dieses ROM gehören. Der Entwickler „synergye „ wird alles dazu ablehnen oder ignorieren.

Hallo zusammen,

ich möchte euch hier ein ROM für das Nexus4 vorstellen, welches ich derzeit als eines der TOP ROMs für das LG Handy ansehe.
Seit über einer Woche habe ich dieses ROM aktuell in der SR1 Version am laufen.

Ich komme ebenfalls von einem QuadCore Handy HTC HOX und muss feststellen, dass ich sowas an Geschmeidigkeit und Flüssigkeit noch nie gesehen habe.
Das Teil ist das pure "Gift" und es macht einfach nur Spass, es in Händen zu halten.

Aktuell verwende ich den R.20 Kernel von "franco" und dieser hat nochmals einen Leistungsschub erhalten, wie auch in seinem Thread bei den Developers häftigst bestätigt wird.

Wer einmal dem Rausch von Geschwindigkeit erliegen möchte, der sollte sich ein Nexus4 mit den von mir besagten Komponenten bestücken.

Ihr werdet sehen, dass ihr nicht enttäuscht werdet ...

Ja, was soll ich berichten, es läuft wie Schmidts Katze :mrgreen:

Wirklich Null-komma-Null Probleme, eine super Akkulaufzeit mit den R.20 von Franco.
Von daher nach wie vor eine ganz klare Empfehlung von meiner Seite.

Ich verfolge derzeit bei den Developers einige Thread mit Custom ROMs auf den Nexus4.
Aber überall gibt es, wie es aussieht, mehr Probleme als mit der aktuellen "CodeFire"

Die SR1 ist eine ganz klare Empfehlung ... ;-)

Hab seit gestern auch codfireX mit dem Franco Kernel am laufen.
Außer das sich das nexus einmal von alleine neu gestartet hat, kann ich nichts negatives berichten. Gefühlt starten spiele wie gta3 schneller wie vorher und das booten(ohne animation) ist definitiv flotter. Bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Rom. Alle Einstellungsmöglichkeiten habe ich bis jetzt noch nicht probiert, aber das kommt bestimmt mit der zeit! Ist in jedem Fall ein guter Tipp gewesen!!!

Ja, freut mich zu lesen.
Mittlerweile ist auch der r.22 von "franco" raus.

Dieser Kernel sollte noch einen tick "smoother" laufen als schon der von mir beschriebene r.20.

Und mit dem Tool von "franco" ist selbst die Installation ein Klacks. Zumal man den alten Kernel damit auch sichern kann.
Wer "franco" mag, sollte die paar Groschen für die PRO Version investieren. Lohnt sich auf alle Fälle und ihr unterstützt einen
top -Developer- ;-)

Mit dem updater ist das flashen des neuen Kernels auch ein Kinderspiel. Hab gerade den r22 geflasht. Mal sehen ob ich einen unterschied merke!

Du kannst hier sehr viel anpassen. Statusleiste, Navibar etc ist ja im Moment schon fast standard.
Zudem noch soweit ich weiß Tablet und Phablet Design und änderungen im build.prop (ist das richtig?), zB Wifi Scan Intervall und andere Hacks.

Fand damals nur das öffnen der Suche über den Home-Button (hoch sliden) etwas hakelig.

Wie ist das phablet auf dem nexus4? Des ist ja der größte Unterschied zu den anderen Roms

Hm, naja es ist eine Abwechslung :) beim Note 2 macht es mehr Sinn da grösseres Display aber ist gut. Man gewöhnt sich dran :)

Hatte vorhin kurz CodeFireX drauf...
Hab irgendwie mehr erwartet, haut mich nicht von den Socken...
Kann nicht sagen warum, aber mir gefällt Xylon einfach besser.

So, ein erster Zwischenbericht ...
unglaublich, aber der "franco" r.28 haut mal alles so locker in die Tonne, was seine Vorgänger anbelangt.
Das Teil legt eine Akku-Laufzeit hin, die ist unglaublich.
Ich wollte heute eigentlich ein anders ROM testen, aber die Kombi hier mit "CodeFire" ist einmalig.

Da kann ich nicht verstehen, wie man in Tests des Nexus4 von einem schwachen Akku sprechen konnte.
Scheinbar hat der 3.4.x Kernel jede Menge Luft nach oben ... ;-)

Mein Tipp, probiert es mal aus ... ;-)

Ich hatte das Rom für 2 Tage zum Testen und das Rom an sich ist wirklich gut aber francokernel bringt es irgendwie nicht bei mir.
Ich komme nur auf 8 Stunden Akkulaufzeit wo ich mit dem Faux123 auf das 23 Stunden kommen :/

Ja mitm franco ists zur Zeit am besten für Nexus 4 Verhältnisse aber im Vergleich zu anderen Smartphones ziemlich mau.

ich kam mit dem Franco nur auf 8 Stunden und mit dem faux123 kam oder komm ich immer auf 23 Stunden.

Ich vergleich nie wie lange das Gerät an ist sondern DISPLAY ON Zeit ;)

meine Display on zeit liegt bei 4-5 Stunden.

ich glaub grade beim vergleich von kernels muss man nicht wirklich die display on zeit vergleichen sondern den standby,
da dort am meisten getweaked wird

Das verbraucht aber am wenigsten Batterie. Logischerweise sollte man sich somit an der Zeit messen, an der das Gerät wirklich aktiv war. Im Standby sind die fast alle equal.

Danke, mittlerweile ist auch der "franco"- r.32 raus ;-)

So, ich habe den Post #1 vorne auf das SR2 hin aktualisiert ;-)

Da es nach wie vor eine der besten ROMs ist, habe ich mich in Sachen Kernel noch etwas mehr eingelesen und was mit "CodefireX" so richtig *rocken* soll.
"franco" ist sicherlich ein top Kernel, aber

ich versuche jetzt eine CleanInstall auf der basis von "motleys" kernel.
Da gibt es 2 Varianten, eine "stable" und eine "experimental" Version -
Die letztere mit Release-Date 30.12.12 soll ein echter Kracher sein. Also, her damit :-D

Der wird gelobt, dass es nur so raucht, und der zieht wohl so richtig an der KETTE ;-)
Mal sehen, was geht ;-)

Interessant zu hören! Dann bin ich mal gespannt, welche Erfahrung du mit dem Kernel machst. Vlt Wechsel ich dann auch mal.

Ich bin bereits auf der neuesten Version und bis auf einen FC unter:

CFXSettings - Benutzeroberfläche - Navigationsleiste

läuft das Teil total schnittig.

Vom "franco" Kernel bin ich mittlerweile abgerückt und habe nun den

[KERNEL][Jan 14][Linaro]Exp:b14/Main:b57 _motley kernel for the N4
am laufen.

Im Thread zum CodefireX sind einige mit diesem Kernel deutlich besser zufrieden, da er unter Last
weniger am Akku saugt.
Ich kann dies nur bestätigen und habe aktuell mit der SR3 von CodeFireX den b14 - experimental Kernel
am laufen.
Der b10 war ein echter Hammer ...

Viel Spass mit der Kombi, die es in sich hat ;-)

Sehr schön, so kann der tag beginnen! Download ist gestartet.
Muss mal sagen, das das wohl das beste Rom ist was ich seit langem benutzt habe! Würde Auf der stelle dem Team eine runde :beer: kredenzen :D
