Wie komme ich leicht in den Massenspeichermodus bei der USB Verbindung?
aktiviere USB Debugging unter Einstellungen/Anwendungen/Entwicklung.
Verbinde das SGS2 mit dem PC, ziehe die Statusleiste herunter und aktiviere USB Verbindung
Wie komme ich in den MTP Modus um das Handy mit Kies am PC zu verbinden?
Das Handy am USB Port anschliessen. Es darf dabei keine Anwendung offen sein. Das Galaxy 2 muss sich auf der Startseite (Ausgangspunkt) befinden.
Klappt dies nicht, kontrolliert, ob ihr unter Einstellungen/Anwendungen/Entwicklung den USB Degug Modus aktiv habt.
Wenn ja, dann deaktivieren.
Was ist Flashen?

Ich habe ein 16GB Handy, aber keine 16GB zur Verfügung
von den 16 GB gehen noch ca. 2,5 GB für's System drauf
Wie bekomme ich die 4 Icons ganz unten (im Dock) geändert?
Gehe in die App Liste (wo alle Apps sind), klicke dort links unten auf den Menübutton un d dort auf Bearbeiten.
Schon kann man die Icons verschieben.
Wie mach ich einen Screenshot?
Klicke auf die Home Taste und zügig gleich auf die Power Taste.
Kann man vorinstallierte Programme löschen?
Für dieses Vorhaben brauch man Rootrechte. Dann kann man diese Apps mit einem Rootfähigen Explorer z.B. Rootexplorer in /system/apps Löschen.
Einfacher geht es noch mit Titanium Backup, wo man, Root vorausgesetzt, diese Apps nicht nur löschen, sondern einfrieren kann. Einfrieren hat den Vorteil, sie sind physisch noch vorhanden aber deaktiviert.

Fast Dormancy deaktivieren (bei Providern, die das nicht Unterstützen, spart das Akku)
1: Dial *#9900#
2: Press Disable Fast Dormancy
3: Press Exit
Batteriestats (Batterystats.bin) Löschen:
Voraussetzungen Rootrechte und z.B. der Rootexplorer.
Navigiere nach /data/system/ und lösche dort die batterystats.bin
Dies sollte man mit vollem Akku, bei anschliessendem Reboot machen.
GPS Config auf Europa ändern:
in der gps.conf ist Nordamerika eingetragen.
Man kann es einfach auf Europa ändern.
Voraussetzungen Rootrechte und z.B. der Rootexplorer.
Navigiere nach /etc und öffne die gps.conf mit einem Texteditor.
Ändere nun der NTP_Server auf europe.pool.ntp.org
Apps im Touchwiz sortieren
Mit dem App Appzorter lassen sich die Apps alphabetisch Sortieren und auch Lücken schliessen.
Netzmodus wählen
dies Umstellen mit *#*#4636#*#* dort auf Telefondaten gehen, runterscrollen und bei "Bevorzugten Netztyp auswählen"

Now that the general stuff is out of the way, here's my take on the Preferred Network types:
WCDMA preferred - The GSM phone is capable of using both 2G and 3G data communication and when signal strength is low 3G is favored more.
GSM only - The GSM phone is capable of using only 2G data communication. When the 2G signal is too low you get nothing at all.
WCDMA only - The GSM phone is capable of using only 3G data communication. When the 3G signal is too low you get nothing at all.
GSM auto (PRL) - The GSM phone is capable of using both 2G and 3G data communication and when signal strength is low 2G is favored more. This one is a bit confusing to me since PRL is associated mostly with CDMA technology and not GSM technology.
CDMA auto (PRL) - The CDMA phone is capable of using both 2G and 3G data communication and when signal strength is low 2G is favored more.
CDMA only - The CDMA phone is capable of using only 2G data communication. When the 2G signal is too low you get nothing at all.
EvDo only - The CDMA phone is capable of using only 3G data communication. When the 3G signal is too low you get nothing at all.
GSM/CDMA auto (PRL) - Some phones are equipped with both GSM and CDMA capabilities. This setting appears to just have the phone attempt to stay connected to the data communication type that works the best. (Maybe the Samsung Galaxy S will take advantage of this???)
Unknown - If none of the above fit or the phone is acting weird as far as connecting to the carrier, you will see your preferred network type is set to this
