Erstellt WinRT Neuinstallation auch eine neue Wiederherstellungspartition?

Hallo zusammen,

ich wollte letztens meins Surface RT wiederauffrischen, was aber nicht ging, weil anscheinend meine Wiederherstellungspartition leer oder fehlerhaft ist. (Unter Datenträgerverwaltung wird sie als vorhanden und als leer angezeigt.)
Also hab ich mir das WinRT-Image runtergeladen und vom USB-Stick aus neuinstalliert.

Weiß jemand, ob dabei auch die Wiederherstellungspartition neu aufgesetzt wird?

Bei mir war es so, habe das Image genutzt das von MS für ein fehlerhaftes Win 8.1 bereit gestellt wurde.

Das war dann aber ein Image für Win8.0, oder?
Das jedenfalls hab ich genutzt, um es komplett neu aufzusetzen. Das hat auch soweit geklappt und das System läuft nach den ganzen Updates auch ganz okay.

Leider kann ich jetzt weder aus WinRT heraus das System auffrischen/neu installieren noch vom Stick:

1) wenn ich die entsprechenden Funktionen vom gestarteten Windows aus
nutzen will, erhalte ich die folgende Fehlermeldung:
"Wiederherstellungsumgebung nicht gefunden. Legen Sie Ihr
Windows-Installations- oder -Wiederherstellungsmedium ein, und starten Sie
den PC mit dem Medium neu."

2) starte ich also das Surface RT vom Stick aus, geschieht folgendes:
Bildschirm: "PC auffrischen" -> weiter -> Windows RT 8.1 ->
Fehlermeldung "Das Laufwerk, auf dem Windows installiert ist, ist
gesperrt. Entsperren Sie das Laufwerk, und versuchen Sie es erneut."

oder

"Originaleinstellung wiederherstellen" -> weiter -> Windows
RT 8.1 -> Fehlermeldung "Der PC kann nicht auf Originaleinstellung
zurückgesetzt werden. Eine erforderliche Laufwerkspartition fehlt."

Mit anderen Worten: im Moment kann ich das System gar nicht mehr zurücksetzen.
Es wird kein Bildschirm angezeigt, in dem ich den Entsperrcode eingeben könnte und laut Datenträgerverwaltung sind alle Partitionen vorhanden. (auch die 3gb-Wiederherstellungspartition)

Hintergrund der ganzen Geschichte: ich hab mir ein Touchcover (zusätzlich zum schon vorhandenen Typecover) besorgt. Das funktionierte nicht, weil die Treiber zwar erkannt aber nicht korrekt installiert wurden. Daher die Idee, aufzufrischen, was aber nicht ging. Also direkt neu installiert. Jetzt funktionieren zwar beide Cover, aber die Wiederherstellung nicht mehr.

Bei hatte es nach dieser Anleitung geklappt mit dem Zurücksetzen des Tablets auf 8.0 um dann wieder auf ein frisches 8.1 zu updaten. Die anderen Wege wie Auffrischen über das System selbst oder mit einem Stick funktionierten erst danach wieder (hatte die Recovery-Partition früher mal gelöscht)

Download and create a USB recovery drive from another PC
To download the recovery drive, you’ll need:
 A USB drive with more than 4GB storage capacity.
 A PC running Windows 7 or later.
Here’s how to create the recovery drive:
1) Download the recovery drive files.
a) Go to http://download.microsoft.com
b) In the Search box enter Surface RT Recovery and the press Enter.
c) Tap or click on Surface RT Recovery in the search results and follow the instructions on the screen to download.
2) When the download is complete, create the Surface USB recovery drive.
a) Insert your USB drive into the USB port of your PC.
b) From the desktop, open File Explorer.
c) Tap and Hold or right-click on the USB drive and choose Format.
d) Select FAT32 as the file system and enter a Volume label to name the USB drive, such as RECOVERY, and then tap or click Start.
e) Tap or click OK to erase the contents of the USB drive.
f) Tap or click OK when the format is complete.
g) Copy the contents of the recovery image you downloaded to the USB flash drive.
Use a Surface RT USB recovery drive to fix startup error 0xc000000d
1) Turn Surface RT off by pressing the power button.
2) Start Surface RT using the USB recovery drive.
a) Insert the USB recovery drive into the USB port.
b) Press and hold the volume-down (–) rocker.
c) Press and release the power button.
d) When the Surface logo appears, release the volume rocker.
e) Surface will start the recovery software on the USB recovery drive.
3) When prompted, choose your language options and keyboard layout.
4) Tap or click Troubleshoot.
5) Tap or click Advanced Options.
6) Tap or click Command Prompt.
7) From the BitLocker screen, tap on the screen to hide the touch keyboard and then tap or click Skip This Drive at the bottom of the screen.
8) At the command prompt,
a) Type bootrec /rebuildbcd, and then press Enter.
b) When asked “Add installation to boot list? Yes (Y) No (N) All (A)” type the letter A, and then press Enter.
c) Type Exit, and then press Enter. The command prompt window will close.
9) Tap or click Continue.
10) Surface will restart and complete the Windows RT 8.1 update.
11) After the Windows RT 8.1 update is complete, sign in to Windows.
12) Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, tap Search, then enter command. In the search results, tap and hold Command Prompt, release and then tap Run as administrator. (If you’re using a keyboard, use Windows+X and then tap or click Command Prompt (Admin).)
13) At the administrator command prompt,
a) Type reagentc /enable, and then press Enter.
b) Type diskpart and then press enter.
c) At the “DISKPART>” prompt,
i) Type sel disk 0 and then press Enter.
ii) Type sel part 5 and then press Enter.
iii) Type Assign letter=R and then press Enter.
iv) Type Exit and then press Enter to exit the DISKPART command.
d) Type reagentc /setosimage /path R:\recoveryimage /index 4 and then press Enter.
e) Type Exit, and then press Enter. The command prompt window will close.
14) Remove the USB recovery drive from Surface.
15) Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, and then tap Settings. Tap or click Power, and then tap or click Restart.
Surface will restart and the Windows RT 8.1 update will be complete.

Ja, die Seite, die du da angibst, kenn ich auch. Daher hab ich das WinRT-Image.
Allerdings hab ich nicht die komplette Anleitung befolgt, sondern nur eine einfache Wiederherstellung gemacht, denn es ging mir ja nicht um die Installation von Win8.1.

Naja, ich wird's aber die Tage mal komplett nach der Anleitung durchführen. Hab ja nichts zu verlieren.

Ein erster Versuch ist gescheitert:
Der Befehl "bootrec /rebuildbcd" hat leider nicht funktioniert, weil bootrec kein OS gefunden hat.

Ich lad jetzt das Image noch mal neu herunter.

Mmh, erster Teilerfolg:
Hab schon mal herausgefunden, dass meine RecoveryPartition nicht leer ist!
Zugriff auf die Partition über das Tool "diskpart" in der Eingabeaufforderung:
1. diskpart [startet das Programm]
2. sel disk 0 [wählt die interne Disk 0 aus]
3. sel part 5 [wählt die 5. Partition aus]
4. Assign letter=R [weist der 5. Partition den Laufwerksbuchstaben R zu und erscheint dann im Dateiexplorer]

So, nun zum (hoffentlichen Zurücksetzen:
Hab das Tablet im entsprechenden Modus gestartet (so, dass man Auffrischen etc. auswählen kann) und bin über die Problembehandlung und die erweiterten Optionen in der Eingabeaufforderung gelandet.

Von dort aus hab ich die Recoverypartition so wie oben beschrieben sichtbar gemacht.
Als nächstes bin ich per "cd C:\windows\system32" in den Ordner gewechselt, in dem sich die Datei reagentc.exe befindet.
Dann hab ich folgenden Befehlt ausgeführt:
reagentc /setosimage /path R:\recoveryimage /index 4 /target C:\Windows

Anschließend hab ich die Eingabeaufforderung verlassen und "PC auf Originaleinstellung zurücksetzen" gewählt. Da wurde ich dann gefragt, ob auch alle Partitionen wiederhergestellt werden sollen (was ich bejaht habe). Seitdem läuft die Wiederherstellung. Bin gespannt und berichte, wenn sie durch ist und alle Updates installiert sind.

So, alles Updates installiert und bis auf manchmal etwas seltsames Touchscreenverhalten läuft's.

Grad nochmal zur Sicherheit aufgefrischt. Das funktionierte ohne Probleme. Ich nehme daher mal an, dass eine Neuinstallation damit auch wieder möglich ist. (Will ich jetzt nicht auch noch mal ausprobieren.)

Also vorerst alles wieder gut.
