Nein, jetzt im ernst. Diese Announcements sind doch offiziell oder nicht? Und wieso steht das nur bei der niederländischen Twitter Seite? Heißt Roll Out, dass man es morgen runterladen kann?

Rollout bedeutet dass es ab morgen verteilt werden könnte und dann nach und nach auf die Geräte runtergeladen werden kann.

Weil ich den Thread nicht kenne, da ich weder vorhabe zu rooten noch ein Custom-ROM zu flashen.

Wenn du den Untertitel des HTC Desire Root und ROM Forums gelesen hättest wärste jetzt ein wenig schlauer und hättest doch dort gepostet:

Forum über Root Zugang / Root Applikationen / ROM Upgrades / Firmware Updates usw. beim HTC Desire.

Hab ich es mir doch gedacht. Über Facebook kam die Mitteilung von HTC das noch kein update kommt, es aber in greifbarer Nähe ist.

Nein, also nächste Woche bekommen wir es denke ich mal. Was würde das denn für einen Sinn machen, wenn Deutschland 3 Monate länger brauchen würde als die BeNeLux Länder? Ja stimmt, irgendwie gar keinen

Wenn ich manuell nach System-Updates prüfe, wo wird dann geprüft? Bei HTC direkt oder beim Netzbetreiber?

Ich habe ein brandingfreies gekauft und als Netzprovider verwende ich Aldi Medion Talk (eplus) mit Datenflat.

Schon wieder so ein twitter gerücht ! HTC hatt doch bestätigt das der release erst im 4Q ist und daselbe wurde mir auch von support erzählt!

Es wurde seitens HTC gesagt, Froyo soll noch im 3 Quartal kommen, zumindest fürs Desire. Und nachdem in Asien bereits alle neu verkauften Desire mit 2.2 rauskommen, scheint das ganze ja schon fertig zu sein. Bis ins 4. Quartal zu warten wäre dann ja schwachsinnig...

Official: HTC rolling out Android 2.2 and 720p video capture to unlocked European Desires this weekend

"The Android 2.2 (FroYo) update for HTC Desire will start rolling out across Europe this weekend. As well as including the complete set of Android 2.2 features, the update will contain a few special additions of our own through the latest iteration of HTC Sense. The update will provide 720p video capture, HTC's App Share widget, as well as our enhanced HTC Caller ID, and improved multi-language keyboard. Also, through the update, HTC Sync will allow HTC Desire users to sync their music with iTunes.

HTC Desire users will be notified that the over-the-air update is available to download when their phone automatically checks for software updates. The update won't delete any of the phone's content. However, due to the size of the update, we would advise using a WiFi connection to download it wherever possible to avoid additional data charges.

This update will initially roll out to unlocked HTC Desire handsets. Operator specific versions of the update are undergoing testing and we expect to make them available in several weeks' time.

Das wäre ja geil wenn endlich das versprochene 720p kommt...ich hoffe mal mit anständigen fps...abwarten und kaffee trinken

In den Custom Roms ist 720p ja bereits dabei, nur leider mit einer sehr geringen fps ich denke HTC ist da besser im finalen Rom. Der Rest ist keine grosse Überraschung ausser iTunes Sync und das finde ich klasse.
