WICHTIG:

Um an die ROOT Rechte zu gelangen: Einstellungen > Entwickleroptionen und dort die Option "root access" auf "apps und adb" setzen.
Die Entwickleroptionen freischalten: Einstellungen > Telefoninfo > 7x auf die Buildnummer klicken




FAQ:


Mir ist die Bildschirmauflösung zu klein, wie bekomme ich die Icons und Statusleiste größer?
Lade dir die App textdroider_dpi aus dem Playstore herunter und stelle dir eine andere DPI ein > Samsung S4 Standard Wert ist 480 DPI.



Ich habe einen Timebug (Datum wird zurückgesetzt bei jedem Neustart), was soll ich machen?
Dazu braucht ihr einen root Explorer und mit diesem geht ihr in das Verzeichnis /system/bin/ und dort löscht ihr die Datei "time_deamon" , danach das Telefon neustarten!

Ich habe diese SlimKat Version jetzt seit 2 Stunden drauf und bin begeistert. Funktioniert alles sehr gut und ich kann sogar noch viel mehr Einstellungen ab Werk vornehmen als mit Stock!

Für alle, die Samsung Roms nicht mehr wollen sehr zu empfehlen!

*grins* ich sags seit Jahren, es geht nichts über ein AOSP ROM
Alles was man braucht und noch viel mehr dank xposed und den Modulen.
S2/S3/S4/Note/Note 2/GTab2 habe ich alle auf AOSP laufen

Xposed mag ich eingentlich nicht so. Aber die Rom ist auch ohne Xposed sehr gut.

Viel zum Einstellen. Es sind auch schon einige Goodies aus 3 Minit integriert. Die einzige zusätzliche Maßnahme, die ich ergriffen habe, ist die DPI Zahl wieder auf die gewohnten 480 zu stellen.

Wenn eine neue Weekly kommt, kann ich die dann einfach drüber flashen?

P.S.: Die Rom hat 146 MB! Es kommt dann nochmal 130 MB an GAPs dazu. Auch das ist viel besser als bei Sammy Roms finde ich.

gibt auch minimal GApps und daher dann noch schlanker....

wie steht empfohlen ist format system und dann flashen, aber bei den weekly ist es halb so schlimme es erst mal ohne auszuprobieren. wenns nicht klappt einfach sauber neu flashen und gut ist es.


wichtig: es werden nur FAT32 ext. Cards unterstützt.

Es gibt aber auf anderen "besseren" Smartphones die weniger kosten als SumSum, die gleichen wenn nicht sogar bessere Roms.

ich habe sumsum wegen dem auswechselbaren akku.. ext. speicherkarte und dem genialsten.. dem home button...

den haben weder das nexus noch sony welche als einzige für mich in frage kommen...

Danke fürs vorstellen, macht neugierig. Wobei ich mit der Duxter imo voll zufrieden bin, aber über kurz oder lang möchte ich nicht auf 4.4 verzichten. @Al Falcone, ich habe die Bilder mal bearbeitet das sie ohne Rand und Auflösungsangaben zu sehen sind.

Blöde Frage, aber wie stabil sind die weeklys?
Alltagstauglich oder eher nicht?
Mich würde es hauptsächlich wegen 4.4.2 interessieren.

Klappt denn sowas wie Wiederherstellung von Daten mittels Titanium Backup wenn man von einer Samsung Firmware kommt problemlos?
Ist ja im Grunde nen ganz anderes System, oder?

Läuft jetzt 9 Stunden absolut stabil. Habe so um die 230 Apps mit TB wiederhergestellt. Ging problemlos.

Hammer, klingt ja mal super. Habe jetzt schon angefangen meine persönliche Slim Kat ROM zu basteln, also apk´s rausgeworfen und werde dann bestimmt bald mal flashen.

was wirfst du da noch raus?

Google sync nutze ich schon, aber was du so sagst ist auf jeden Fall raus, außerdem alle Klingeltöne / Nachrichtentöne bis auf den, den ich nutze. Raus ist bei mir aus der "minimal gapps" zip noch z.B. CloudPrint2.apk, ChromeBookmarksSyncAdapter.apk, Gmail.apk, GoogleEars.apk Music.apk, YouTube.apk (installiere ich aus dem Playstore) sowie paar libs.
Naja und aus der WEEKLY zip noch paar Dinge. Allerdings kommt man nicht so krass runter wie auf Samsung ROMs. Bin jetzt mit allem (also WEEKLY+gapps) bei 164mb. Allerdings noch nicht geflasht, also "ohne Gewähr".

das selbe lösche ich auch raus......

alles unnötig und für nichts gut in meinen augen. Ich liebe es puristisch... ganz nach "Keep it simple and smart" meine Devices müssen einfach Exchange Sync haben und unterstützen...

Könnte jemand ein paar Fotos machen von der Rom so vom einstellungsmenü usw wäre echt dankbar
