Hallo zusammen

Academic Honesty- Obeying the given Rules
Academic honesty means obeying the rules governing exams and assignments regarding MHA FPX 5010 Assessment 1, electronic aids and copying. It also includes not accepting or giving unauthorized help on any assignment.
Academic integrity has many tangible payoffs including a stronger sense of personal responsibility, improved skills and a graduate diploma with value in the job marketplace. It is important for educators to act proactively rather than reactively when addressing academic dishonesty.
Honesty in Research
Academic honesty is about being truthful in research and writing. It also means valuing the intellectual contributions of others by giving credit where it is due through citation. It means not plagiarizing the work of another person, whether it is a paraphrase or an exact word-for-word quotation.
It is also important to conduct your own research in accordance with the standards of your discipline and national guidelines for the protection of human subjects. And it is critical to share your results with colleagues so that they can build upon your work and test its validity or try it in a different setting.
Instructors can encourage academic honesty by presenting their course’s academic integrity policy to students during the first few class sessions, and by including an academic integrity statement in each course syllabus. This statement may include a link to the academic integrity website or a brief description of how the College’s policy applies to the specific course.
Honesty in Writing
The underlying values of academic integrity are honesty, trust, fairness and respect. Those who engage in dishonest behavior jeopardize the integrity of the educational community, as well as their own moral strength.

If a faculty member finds a student responsible for a violation of the Academic Honesty Policy, the Chair may invite them to consider signing a Chair’s Resolution with Penalty. Signing the resolution indicates acceptance of responsibility as well as agreement with the proposed penalties.
Honesty in Collaboration
Clearly and repeatedly communicate course-specific academic honesty guidelines and expectations for each assignment. This may take the form of an orientation early in the semester or it may be conveyed on a course-by-course basis as assignments are given.
Lending your paper to a friend for review and having her change awkward phrases, ambiguous assertions or unsupportable statements might implicate you in academic dishonesty (assuming you know she is a good writer and you trust her). This is also not a good idea when it comes to team assignments.
