Bei all den Sachen was sich SE bissher geboten hat überrascht mich das keineswegs...
Ich warte nur noch bis mein Abo abläuft und dann seh ich mich nach was neuem um... was nicht von SE ist!...

Wenn man im Androidpolice Artikel auf HAS CONFIRMED klickt, kommt man zum Artikel von Android Community. Denen gegenüber hat Sony Ericsson dies bestätigt.

Yes Bro..U can Trust it coz I too work in Sony Ericsson and by the time we are working on GingerBread i.e. v2.3 that will be in our next series of Xperia..

and about X10..Currently there is no Froyo development going on..there will be a minor update in around Feb but no firmware update..only bugs will get fixed..

so I think X10 might be lacking froyo..but gingerbread is our concern now...Wait for Feb13 when sony will announce its new Xperia family with 2.3OS..after that X10 might get Gingerbread..

Die Kunden hinhalten und am Ende dann canceln. Also wenn man nach 1 Jahr solcher Versprechungen immer noch darauf einfällt dann ist man wohl selbst schuld.

XDA wirds hoffentlich richten.

Als ehrlich gesagt finde ich NIRGENWO eine deutliche Aussage seitens SE dass FROYO auf KEIEN Fall kommt.
Wir brauchen uns zwar nicht viele Hoffnungen machen, aber die Vergangenheit hat gezeigt dass SE oftmals zurückgerudert und sich umentschieden hat...bestes Beispiel MT/DT...

Warten wir doch einfach mal ab.

Heisst aber nicht dass ich jetzt die Updatepolitik seitens SE für GUT heisse...

However, at this stage those plans do not include updating the underlying Android version.

This decision is based on that we believe that with the current hardware platform an overhaul of the underlying core OS wouldn’t drastically improve the user experience.
We believe that the current Xperia range on Android 2.1 coupled with our proprietary upgrades and unique hardware delivers a user experience that is on par with, and in many cases better than, a vanilla installation of Android 2.2.

Our priority right now is to keep enhancing the user experience of the existing products through coming updates and to deliver a fantastic range of smartphones in 2011 that are all on the latest possible version of Android – that is a target we are determined to hit!
