Nein - ist keine Final Version. Darky arbeitet daran - es wird noch Anderungen geben bis es dann final ist.
Doch noch ein paar Tage Geduld haben - und du bekommst ein tolles Rom!

Kann mir mal einer ein gefallen ob die Google Navigation bei ihm geht.weil ich geb Start und ziel ein, geh auf navigieren und dann kommt Route wird abgerufen und so bleibst dann auch. Jetzt weiss ich nicht obs an Google liegt oder an der ROM. Weil früher gingen aufjedenfall.danke

Bei mir funktioniert es, leider nur das GPS noch mehr schlecht als Recht! Aber das liegt nicht am ROM, sondern am SGS! :)

Hat jemand mal versucht Text im Browser zu markieren? Das ging doch mal oder? Sogar mit Lupe oder vertu ich mich!

kann man von der ersten 9er beta mit aktiviertem lagfix auf die rc6 updaten, oder lagfix vorher deaktivieren?

Also ich habs auch mal drauf RC6. Bis jetz hatte ich nur ein Problem, dass ich keinen GPS Empfang mehr hatte. GPS Test zeigte nichtmal einen Satelliten an. So habe ich einfach google Maps deinstalliert. Dann reboot und Maps wieder neu installiert. Und alles ist OK! Habe wieder Signal und das auch nicht schlecht. Klare Sicht zum Himmel.
Voodoo Sound App ist auch hervorragend! Deutliche Klangverbesserung im normalbetrieb - und mit Headphones natürlich auch.
Der Player "Power Amp" ist auch sehr zu empfehlen!
Großes Lob an Darky und an alle beteiligten Entwickler! Gut Ding braucht eben Weile :-)

hmm - es ist sicher besser ihn vorher zu deaktivieren. So genau weis ich das auch nicht. Hab die 2 minuten investiert um in zu deaktivieren. sicher ist sicher.

ich war mutig und habs mit aktiviertem lagfix installiert.

Falls hier noch Leute 8.0 drauf haben. Habt ihr manchmal auch Probleme im Benachrichtigungsmenü Autorotation zu deaktivieren?

Bei mir kann ich so oft daraufdrücken wie ich will, das Icon graut nicht aus bzw. Autorotation wird nicht deaktiviert.
Meist klappt es nicht, wenn ich in einer App zuvor Autorotation aktiviert habe. Danach lässt es sich nicht deaktivieren. Auch interessant ist, ob es noch in den neueren Versionen so ist.

Geht mir auch so...dieser bug zieht sich bei mir schon recht lange hin und hat nicht nur mit der 8.0er version zu tun. Tritt zwar sehr selten auf, da ich meistens autorotation aus habe, aber ich hatte das Problem auch schon bei vorherigen Version und jetzt auch bei der 9.0 beta.

Klappt mit 8.1 ohne probleme

hab mal ne frage an die leute die sich die V9 installiert haben. habt ihr das mit der APP gemacht? wenn ja wie bzw. man wählt in der app die dinge aus die man haben will. diese tauchen ja auch im ordner der app auf. muss ich dann die zip datei mit der rom ind den ordner hauen oder wie immer einfach auf die sd card? und wenn man nicht will das überhaupt ein neuer kernel installiert wird. kann man die datei einfach aus dem darky ordner löschen?danke

du kannst die app einfach installieren und dann die sachen so auswählen, wie du sie gern hättest. auch welchen kernel du willst. danach legt die app alle entprechenden files so an, dass bei einem erneuten flash, alles so gemacht wird, wie du es vorgesehen hast.

die V 9.0 RC4 - 6 waren stabil. Bin mit der RC6 heute 400 Km Autobahn (natürlich mit GPS via Navigon) gefahren und hatte keine Probleme, funzt alles wunderbar.
@Darky: Die Umsetzung mit dem Darky-App gefällt mir sehr gut. Tolle Arbeit. RC7 läuft bisher auch anstandslos.

Wenn ich fragen darf, was hat den das Akku gekostet?

Hallo prophet,

nur Autobatterie bzw. Lichtmaschine, weil ich eine Brodit-Halterung mit 12V-Anschluss habe.
Akkuverbrauch bei Standby, aber mit 3G-Netz oder besser und ständigen eMail-Push deutlich unter 1% auf "System-Panel". Dies natürlich ohne Autobatterie. Der neue K12q-Kernel von HC läuft echt sparsam.
Habe nachts - allerdings im Flightmode - einen Verbrauch von 4-5% in 7 - 8 Stunden.

General Note
Besides the usual bugfixes [we fixed almost every known bug] and new features [a lot of new ones, every single one is tested several times!], Ficeto created a whole new Script Engine, which allows you to customize the ROM before it gets flashed. Read below for the explaination & documentation.

Completely New Script Engine [by Ficeto]
The most important and cool part about this new script is that you need to download a single file and chose the way you want it installed and which applications you want included. Surely this will lead to many more goodies, which will include multi-device support, more kernel choices, more modem, themes and anything else you can think of. It’s a kitchen in a ROM :)

How to customize the ROM before flashing
First, open the Market and download the DarkyROM Configurator App. Open the App and select the packages you want installed. If you are currently on Darky’s ROM and you are wondering if you should wipe your phone, now it’s a good time :)
>> v9.0 will clear any problems you might have left from 8.x or earlier.
If you are already on Darky’s and you remove apps through options before a no-wipe flash, apps that are not in /system (fonts and third-party) will not be deleted.

READ THIS - WIPE / NO-WIPE

The ROM itself will decide if it will wipe or not.

>> If you are NOT on Darky’s ROM, your data WILL BE WIPED, no matter what!
>> If you ARE on Darky’s ROM, your data will NOT be wiped, unless you tick 'Wipe' in the Darky App.
>> If you do NOT use any of the options bellow, ALL applications will be installed (just like the ROMs before)

You don't have to use the Darky App to install the ROM. It's optional.

so, 2 Fragen - welchen Sppeedmod soll ich den nun im Configurator einstellen und was muss ich beim Lockscreen einstellen um die batterieschonende Variante zu wählen - bin verwirrt?

kernel dürfte eher geschmackssache sein, also nimm den, mit dem du die besten erfahrungen gemacht hast. beim lockscreen solltest du mit dem darkytool, darkys auswählen, um die batterieschonende variante zu haben.

das tool legt im gerät dateien im verzeichnis darky an. wenn du jetzt eine neue version einspielst, checkt das script das vorhanden- oder nichtvorhandensein der dateien und passt dementsprechend die installation an.

Ich hatte beim Update von 8.2 auf 9.0 das Problem, dass das SGS bei der Bootanimation hängen geblieben ist und mehrfach vibriert hat.
Hierzu gibt es in Darky's Forum einen Lösungsweg!

Oberflächlich, soweit ich das gesehen habe, sieht die 9er Version der 8er ziemlich gleich! Die meisten Verbesserungen sind unter der Oberfläche, und die größte Verbesserung ist (in meinen Augen) die App, welche die Installation erleichtert.

Irgendwie will mir gearde nicht so ganz einleuchten wieso ich den DarkyRom Configurator vor dem flashen und nicht danach nutzen soll

Hallo Leute,

ich habe ein kleines Problem, habe mir die neue Version von Darky gezogen habe mit das Darky App aus dem Markt geholt. Die Zip-Datei auf meine externe SD gelegt.

Dann wie gehabt per CWM versucht zu installieren, nur das Problem die v9.0 wird nicht gefunden. Ich habe noch andere Sachen auf meiner SD-Karte alles was ich so installiert haben, wie z.B. die version 8.1 das wird angezeigt.

Bin mit meinem Latein am Ende, habe es schon gelöscht, neu geladen usw. aber immer das Gleiche.

Lasst mal hören oder läuft das mit der 9.0 etwas anders, habe in den Foren nichts gesehen.
