Samsung bringt neues Dateisystem

Wer Samsung seit Anfang der Android Zeiten kennt, kann sich noch an das damalige eigene RFS Dateisystem erinnern.
Welches dazu führte, dass es beim Galaxy S1 so schlecht lief.
Wahrscheinlich auf Druck der Community schwenkte Samsung damals auf das bekannte ext4 Dateisystem um.

Jetzt ist Samsung wieder vor dem Schritt ein eigenes Dateisystem einzuführen.
Wohl aber es gleich OpenSource zu machen.
Es nennt sich F2FS und ist extra für Nand Speicher optimiert.
Denn auch ext4 ist nicht ganz optimal für Flashspeicher.

Schauen wir mal, was es bringt.

Das hört sich genial an, hoffentlich bekommt das Note 2 noch was davon mit und nicht erst die nächste oder übernächste Generation.

Tja, Samsung möchte etwas "eigenes" haben, wie es sich im Gegensatz zur Konkurrenz schlägt werden wir ja noch bestimmt erfahren, oder auch nicht.
