[Gelöst] HTC M8 hboot 3.16 to 3.19
Hallo,
Mein ziel ist cm12 nightlies, dazu brauche ich aber wohl twrp 2.8.3.0 (ist schon installiert), und um das zu erhalten HBOOT 3.19 - derzeit zeigt mir das m8 HBOOT 3.16 an, das ist hierfür offenbar zu alt.
Wer kann mir den richtigen Weg aufzeigen um ans Ziel zu gelangen?

Um HBoot zu aktualisieren muss Firmware aktualisiert werden. Dafür geht es hier entlang. S-ON Variante.

Unlock (über htcdev.com) und dann CyanogenMod 11 instaliert vor ungefähr einem Jahr und jetzt wollte ich update auf CyanogenMod 12 (5.0 Lollipop). ;)

Das ist zwar der falsche Link, denn der führt zum M7, aber jetzt weiß ich was du gemacht hast. :)

Wie ich jetzt rausgefunden habe, sind die neueren Recoverys nicht 100% kompatibel mit HBoot 3.16
Versuch mal mit 2.8.1.0
Was du noch probieren kannst, dass du versuchst die Datei über "adb sideload" zu installieren.

ich suche für mein HTC One m8 ein original Vodafone RUU (VODAP102). Die ganzen Links, die zu den developers führen funktionieren nicht, da die Roms dort nicht mehr auf den Servern liegen, oder so.
Hat von euch evtl jemand ne Vodafone RUU, die er evt. irgendwo hochladen könnte?
Hmm, mal probieren mit original rom hboot updaten:confused:
@timsah per ADB Sideload hat auch nicht geklappt :(

Wenn ich richtig informiert bin, gibt es kein RUU für Vodafone.
Du hast die folgenden Möglichkeiten.
Nandroid Backup über Custom Recovery
Rom.zip über Custom Recovery oder ADB sideload
Wenn die nicht funktionieren, dann weiß ich auch nicht mehr...
P.S: Firmware kannst nur dann flashen, wenn du S-OFF hast. Ich habe übersehen das du S-ON hast.

Beste Möglichkeit ist S-OFF, dann kannst du auch Firmware updaten und ein beliebiges ROM flashen. Die Anleitungen dazu gibt es im Forum ;)

ARHD 22.2 lässt sich ohne probleme installieren aber bootet nicht :(
