Negatives
1) Multitasking is completely broken. (I tried to run 2/3 games at the same time but as soon as you switch back to the first game, it has closed). ALSO, switching between applications (when there are many) takes a long time!
2) Some parts of the ROM are not in English (despite English being selected as the main language). For example, connect your USB to your phone and the USB dialog is not in English. You may not find it annoying. I do.
3) Sometimes, notifications stay expanded even if you collapse them. I took a screenshot and was downloading apps at the same time. The notification for the screenshot kept expanding by itself even when I collapsed it. This behavior is mostly random (it's working correctly now...)
4) There is a Telenor app present by default (not really needed). Yeah, yeah. I know, it's a Swedish ROM.
5) The phone is heating up a lot when playing games
6) Overall, the ROM doesn't seem all that smooth. You'll definitely see it lagging a tiny bit here and there when a couple of applications are open. Proof enough that Samsung have ruined Project Butter in most places.
7) No multi-view support in this ROM.
8) The video player doesn't have its own brightness settings.
9) The Gallery is the same as ICS. No Note 2 gallery. Yeah, we probably won't get it.
10) The status bar is still grey (it doesn't bother me but I know most of you hate it)
11) The widgets' drawer still lags on its initial load (meh, doesn't bother me now).

Positives
1) The micro-lags and jitters in the games (present in the Polish JB version) are gone.
2) Wifi signal strength is stronger than ICS
3) Contacts takes half a second less than ICS to open (still kinda slow). Project Butter really shows here when you scroll down the list.
4) You can immediately scroll after opening a list (such as Contacts and Music Player).
5) Google Now works perfectly.
6) There's a new LED indicator setting for "Voice Recording" that wasn't present in ICS.
7) Menu opens up twice as fast as on ICS.

Well, that's my initial impression. Will get back with more once I find stuff. It seems better than the Polish version.

VF steht meines Wissens nach bei den A1 firmwares immer dabei ...

Die Firmwarebeschreibungen haben sich seit dem S2 ja etwas geändert. Samsung hält sich möglicherweise nicht mehr genausodran wie beim S2...? Sonst keine Ahnung.^^ Ist ja eigentlich auch wurscht, Branding macht ja sowieso nix aus.

Draufgespielt funktioniert problemlos...
Was mich interessiert, ob das ein Firmwareproblem ist, dass sich eine VPN Verbindung nur über WLAN und nicht über die mobile Datenverbindung herstellen lässt.

habe mit CF-CWM 6.4 gerootet; wenn ich dann die CWM apk starte kommt eine Fehlermeldung, dass die CWM 3.60 app nur mit Recovery v1.1 or newer funktioniert; mit CF-CWM wird aber das Recovery in v1.5 installiert; habe das auch überprüft und die v1.5ist drauf.
was ist da falsch?

UPDATE: hab ein wenig gegoogelt, scheint ein JB Problem zu sein ... wird wohl irgendwann dann ein neues CF-CWM geben ....

Frage: wenn man die Kurzwahl "1" drückt wird die mailbox gewählt. Ist das normal, dass bei der Kurzwahl "1" (und zwar nur bei der "1") das Tastenfeld oben eingeblendet bleibt?
Ist das vielleicht eine Neuerung bei JB, ist mir vorher nie aufgefallen...

Ist scheinbar eine Neuerung, ist bei mir mit der DLIB auch so!

Des ist auf jedem Phone eine Standardeinstellung.

Habe gerade mein S3(Drei Branding) über WLAN upgedatet.
Gleich danach gerootet wie hier beschrieben: http://www.pocketpc.ch/samsung-galax...r-cf-root.html

Jetzt hängt sich das Handy nach dem PIN eingeben beim Homescreen laden auf.
Es kommt kurz das Drei Logo, danach das Samsung Logo und dann startet das Handy immer wieder neu.
Woran kann das liegen? Was habe ich falsch gemacht?

Versuch CF-Root nochmal zu flashen. Wenns nicht klappt, alles von vorne, die Firmware runterladen und diese per Odin flashen. Was schief gelaufen ist kann ich nicht sagen :/

Könntest auch mal nen Wipe testen. Verlierst dann aber deine Daten. Glaube aber nicht dass das zu einer Lösung führt.

Danke erstmal für deine schnelle Antwort. Habe ich schonmal probiert, bringt leider auch nichts. Aber ich habe die FW original von Samsung bekommen, was kann da schief gegangen sein?

Vlt sind einige Apps nicht kompatibel und bringen das system zum absturz. LBE Privacy Guard z.B. verursacht seit JB bei manchen bootloops.

btw, mehrfachposting in verschiedenen threads wird nicht gern gesehen. ;)

Das verstehe ich nicht, da kommt eine neue FW raus und die ist schlechter als die alte. Habe LBE Privacy Guard installiert, aber das lustige ist bevor ich den anderen Kernel installiert habe ist das Handy locker 1-2 Stunden ohne Probleme gelaufen???

Danke, deswegen habe ich es auch dann gleich wieder gelöscht. War nur etwas verzweifelt. :)

Edit: Generell ist der Kernel ja mit jeder FW kompatibel oder? Seit dem ich das S3 habe, habe ich ca. 3-4 mal den Kernel geflasht und nie Probleme gehabt.

vielleicht liegt es an LBE und nicht an der FW ?

LBE aus dem Market geht unter Jelly Bean nicht richtig. Es gibt eine angepasste Version auf XDA oder du wartest bis sie angepasst wird. Gibt hier auch irgendwo Infos dazu.
Hast nach dem Update einen Werksreset gemacht? Ich habe die polnische Version drauf und den Syiah Kernel und Null Probleme
