Bitte OP ASAP auf 14.2 updaten. 14-14.1 hatte für diverse Leute massive Stabilitätsprobleme. Unter anderem Bootloops, Signal drops etc.

das problem liegt aber beim aktuellen cyanogenmod rom, es funktionieren einige custom kernels nicht mit dem neuesten build.

btw. franco.Kernel #14.4 ist verfügbar und soll einige probleme fixen (bootloops, undervolting, datenverbindung abbruch bei display aus) ausserdem hat er nen cm9 ramdisk fix miteingebaut.

Das ist aber kein Problem sondern nen feature von cm gewesen, die haben die ramdisk angepasst, also mussten die kernels die das auch tun angepasst werden

naja, das ist ansichtssache ... wenn man ein ROM so verändert das es mit keinem 3t kernel mehr funktioniert dann ist das nicht gerade userfreundlich/produktiv und bringt gerade unerfahrene leute in eine blöde situation. (bootloops)

man hätte ja langsam darauf hinarbeiten können, z.B. vorher den kernel entwicklern bescheid geben damit sie es anpassen, oder zumindest die leute davor warnen einen andren kernel zu flashen.

aber naja, auf der andren seite ist cm9 halt ne alpha version da muss man eigentlich mit sowas rechnen :-)

dort gibts 2 neue governour, einmal francoturtle = spart viel akku und einmal francogazelle = spart immernoch akku aber ist schneller

Jepp. mal schauen was es bringt.

Turtle für Screen aus und die Gazelle wenn es in Benutzung ist.

Kernel 15.2 ist raus incl. des neuen Kernelupdaters
der gleich automatisch den Kernel nach dem Download installiert.

Macht keinen automatischen Download mit dem jetzigen Updater!

Danach ist die SD-Card unmounted und ihr findet nichts mehr wieder.
Mir eben passiert, es sieht auf den ersten Blick aus als ob die SD gelöscht wäre.
Wenn man über die Recovery schaut ist aber zum Glück alles noch da.
Nachdem ich ein altes Nandroid wieder eingespielt hatte war alles wieder ok
und ich konnte erstmal sichern.

Wenn man den neuen Kernel dann via CWM manuell flashed ist alles ok.
Mann, mir blieb grad eben kurzzeitig das Herz stehen..... :roll:

Also erstmal Pfoten weg vom neuen Kernelupdater,
zumindest was das automatische Updaten des Kernels angeht.

Update für den Updater ist raus.
Problem sollte gefixed sein ;)

man muß ja auch nicht die volle mögliche Taktrate einstellen.
der #17 geht zum Bsp. auch bis 200 runter..... ;)

ABER
ich habe den Kernel geflasht und bin wie viele andere auch zurück auf 16.2.
Der Kernel ist irgendwie leicht buggy, lest mal bei den XDAs.
Ich werde auf #17.1 warten.

Ich fand sowieso alles was er nach 13.1 gemacht hat ein Bisschen seltsam.
Bis auf den Dynamic Hotplug welcher ja leider nicht sauber funktioniert.

Ehrlich gesagt, ich bin auch immer weniger zufrieden und fast lächerlich finde ich, dass er die alten Kernel nicht mehr zum Download anbietet, er sagt der neuste ist der Beste!

Vorallem find ich es lustig. Das er goverors einführt welche IMO gar keinen Sinn machen und zudem ist er strikt dagegen das man etwas anderes als seine Standard Settings nutzt aber lässt die Option trotzdem drin.
Eigentlich schade weil zwischen 11 und 13.1 hat er wirklich gute Arbeit geleistet. Ich hab immer wieder alle Kernels durchgetestet aber bin immer wieder zu Francos zurück gekehrt weil er einfach das beste Gesamtergebniss hatte.

Mittlerweile reizen mich aber auch Faux123s Kernel der sieht aus als wüsste er was er macht und Ezekeels weil der immer wie öfters in Francos changelog auftaucht.
Na ja mal schauen wie es weitergeht.

Würdest du dein GN auf 1.5 Ghz takten? Ich hab gehört, dass manche schon bei 1.42 Probleme haben

Nutze eigentlich eher selten höhere Taktraten ausser es ist wirklich nötig wie beim Transformer.
Aber das Nexus läuft ja flüssig da spar ich mir die Energie lieber.
Ansonsten ist das halt wie mit dem undervolten. Wenn du einen Montagschip hast kommst du kaum über die Stockfrequenz und wenn du einen guten Chip erwischt hast kanns je nach dem Weit nach oben gehen.
Beim SGS II haben sie es ja von 1.2 Ghz auf 1.6 Ghz gebracht.

Jedoch würde ich noch warten bis das jemand vernünftig hinbekommt. Nummer 17 scheint ja arg verbuggt zu sein.

OT: Warum müssen sich Computerprobleme immer dann lösen wenn ich eigentlich schlafen sollte...

Nachtrag:
habe heute morgen #17.2 geflashed und mußte dann auf der fahrt zur Arbeit feststellen
das ich in einigen Gebieten plötzlich keinen Empfang mehr hatte, nicht mal G. :eek:
Am Abend vorher hatte ich mit #16.2 da noch E und das ist dort durchaus normal.
Aber gar nix gabs noch nie.
Habe den 17er jetzt komplett runtergehauen.
Der ist auch in den neuen releases nix für mich.

Bin im Moment mal zurück auf #13.1, muß mir den nochmal anschauen,
wenn Nebucatnetzer den so über den grünen Klee lobt. ;)
Ansonsten war ich mit 16.2 durchaus rundum zufrieden. :gut:

Normalerweise dürfte das Kernel nichts mit dem Empfang zu tun haben...

Habe das selbe Baseband wie du drauf und keine Probleme...

Na ja ich sage nicht das 13.1 perfekt ist. Es gibt ein paar Patches etc der neuen Kernels die ich gerne hätte leider sind die Einstellungen die er sonst noch vornimmt nicht in meinem Interesse.

Hat von euch noch wer den Kernel #17.1 und kann den mal irgendwo hochladen?
Den habe ich die Nacht verpaßt und würde aber gern mal was testen.

Wieso willst du eig. den 17.1? Laut Changelog behebt der nur die reboots :D

Ich wollte nur testen inwieweit mein SGN mit der Art des OC um kann,
die der 17er und der 17.1er verwenden.
Beim 17er hat er mir leider nicht alle Optionen bzgl. UV und OC angezeigt.

Habe auch mittlerweile einen gefunden, getestet und jetzt wieder den 17.2er drauf.

Er hätte doch die 1,4ghz einfach dazugeben können.
