INSTALLATION

If you already have on the device the ROMOW ROM will be enough to flash version 3.5 without any wipe



If you are using a different ROM.

• Download and put on the device ROMOW v1.
• Restart in Recovery
• Perform wipe (if you already 'a ROM KKA there is no need to wipe)
• Flash the ROMOW v1
• Once flashed reboot the device by performing all the steps until the final home appaears (no need to set up accounts, etc.)
• Now download and place on the device the ROMOW 3.5
• Reboot into recovery
• Flashing the ROM without the wipe
• Reboot
• Now you can set all your accounts

hat das schon jemand geflasht und kann etwas dazu sagen?

Ja, ich habe es drauf. Läuft eigentlich wunderbar, und der Akku hält bei mir wirklich länger, viel länger als Stock-KK9. Einziges Manko ist der Dialer, der ist absolut scheußlich. Ich würde tatsächlich erst einen kompletten Wipe machen, dann das V1 flashen, starten, es einrichten, und dann das V2 als Update drüberspielen, ich bin direkt mit V2 nicht reingekommen, das gibt dann einen Bootloop nach 3 Minuten Bootphase.

Der Dialer ist wie bei AOSP ROMs normal einfach in blau.... also jetzt rein von den bildern her, finde ich den nicht einmal übel....

kann man die ROM ohne weiteres empfehlen? Hat die schon jemand ausprobiert? was kann man positives/negatives berichten?

Ich kanns nur empfehlen. Habe mein Note seite dem 6. und das STOCK ROM nur etwa 15min. ausprobiert und für schlecht befunden.

Da ich auf meinem Nexus S bereits ICS drauf habe, wollte ich ein ähnliches fürs Note. Da kommt man um das ROMOW nicht herum.

In Kombination mit dem Go Launcher und dem ICS Lockscreen ist es fantastisch xD

irgendwie hab ich ein Problem. Hab erst die V1 geflasht, die lief wunderbar. Dann hab ich die V2 geflasht und die bleibt komischer weise immer bei der Bootanimation hängen, läuft also nicht weiter. Hab jeweils ein komplettes Wipe gemacht, und mit cwm im recovery mod geflasht??
Jemand ne Idee an was es liegen könnte?? Sollte ich was in den Angaben vergessen haben damit mir auch ordentlich geholfen werden kann, bitte ich um entschuldigung, bin nicht der absolute Profi auf dem Gebiet :-)

ich hab ein kleines Problem, und zwar. Hab ich mein Galaxy Note gerootet, und hab dann als erstes die romow V1 mit cwm im revocery Modus geflasht, was einwandfrei lief.
Hab dann auf die gleiche Weise die V2 geflasht, nur das ich davor nen full wipe gemacht hab??
War dass villeicht mein Fehler??
Nun hab ich natürlich das problem das ich nicht mehr viel anfangen kann, weil das Note immer bei der Bootanimation hängen bleibt.
Hoffe die Profis hier haben ne gute und schnelle abhilfe??

Okay, habs jetzt selbst wieder einigermaßen in griff bekommen. Hat wirklich gar nix mehr funktioniert. Hab dann mit Odin die stock rom kk9 2.3.6 geflasht. Dann gings wieder, allerdings hatte ich dann kein keypad mehr zur auswahl. Konnte also nix ins Handy eingeben. Komischerweise, musste bzw. hab ich jetzt mal noch meine sdkarte formatiert somit hats jetzt alles wieder geklappt.
Vielleicht hat ja mal jemand das selbe problem, oder hat ne bessere lösung

ich würd da mal ganz dringend nen werksreset empfehlen.

Gesagt getan. Also auch wenns bei viellen funktioniert. Bei mir hat der Romow V2 flash sozusagen, nen komplett Crash verursacht. Falsches Flashen kann ich mir nicht vorstellen, da ichs schon öfter ohne probleme auf die Weise gemacht hab. Und die V1 auch einwandfrei gelaufen ist.....
Naja, nur mein Erfahrungswert :-)

Das ROM in V2 nur mit veränderter Batterieanzeige würde mir schon reichen, das ROM hat den besten Akkuwert, den ich bisher mit dem Note hatte. In der neuen Version sind mir zu viele experimentelle Dinge drin...

...könntest Du doch mit UOT Kitchen selbst brutzeln oder ist die Vorgabe Deines Wunsches dort nicht vorhanden?

Ich habe es noch nicht ausprobiert, das letzte Mal habe ich etwas mit der Root Toolbox verändert, da gibt es die Funktion, Symbole in der Leiste auszutauschen, danach hatte ich einen Bootloop, aber ich weiß nicht warum.

hat jemand ne Idee , hab grade vom Original Rom dieses hier geflascht ROMOW-V1-KK5 ... der erst start hat auch ohne Probleme geklappt danach soll ich ja die 2,5 also die aktuelle version flashen.... CWM Manager hab ich im Adroid Menü,beim starten von CWM aus dem startmenü bekomme ich eine fehlermeldung das der kernel zu alt ist und einige fungtionen deaktiviert sind ... ich komme nicht in den CWM Modus und schaff es auch nicht das update zu instllieren...

hat jemand ne Idee was da falsch gelaufen ist und was ich machen kann

edit:hab jetzt über Odin einen funktionierenden Kernel geflasht und konnte die 2.5 installieren, danach hatte ich wieder mit dem Kernel zu kämpfen und mit fehlenden root rechten

hat das schon jemand in Verbindung mit diesem rom gemacht .... Problem ist das die framework-res über 14 mb groß ist und somit nicht hochgeladen werden kann :(

flash die via Odin die KKA mache eine Werkzurückstellung und gut isses... evtl. wenn du möchtest noch das mit dem gelben Dreicke weg machen.....

meinst Du mit KKA die ROMOW-V1-KK5 , warum mit odin flashen, kann ich das auch über CWM flashen - hab die bis jetzt immer über CWM geflasht ?

komm ich von der ROMOW-V1-KK5 über kies zur KK9 ?

Attenzione:

La ROMOW v5 è basata su XKL7 quindi vi consiglio di fare un full wipe. Se state usando una rom basata su KJ4 o KKA i backup con Titanium potrebbero non andare a buon fine o causare problemi di instabilita’

Installazione:

• Per sicurezza lasciate sulla memoria del vostro dispositivo una ROM funzionante
• Scaricate la ROM e mettetela nella memoria del vostro device
• Avviate in Recovery
• Fate tutti i wipe
• Flashate la V5.1
• Riavviate e il gioco è fatto

PS: Il primo avvio potrebbe durare alcuni minuti,quindi non vi preoccupate. Se l’immagine di avvio continua ad andare avanti ma senza andare in loop togliete la batteria e riavviate il dispositivo

Guys I found that "ROMOW V5.1" using tweaks making rom lagg. Yes it is true.
So I edit the rom to my self.... where everything smooth and super fast.
-
Some bad tweaks removed (it's our opinions)- "S98bolt_siyah" "S98screenstate_scaling".
-completely fixed build.prop (now scrolling truly smooth, with out any interruptions!)
I also add for as
-ICS transaction.
-SnakeS custom font
-Abyss 2.6 kernel


The result is very successful.

-Firstable stable benchmark ! (Linpack 1.4Ghz 99-105 stably)
-We also noticed that phone heating decreased !!!
