Wenn Ihr die Tipps und Tricks mögt, bitte spendet etwas an die Programmierer oder die, die es herausgefunden haben. Dieser Thread ist nicht für Fragen bestimmt, er wird ausschliesslich Tipps und Tricks enthalten. Wenn Ihr selbst einen kennt, postet ihn bitte. Kommentare, Bugs und weiteres der einzelnen Tweaks bitte per PM an mich, dann werde ich sie am richtigen Ort einfügen


ACHTUNG: Für die meisten nachfolgenden Tweaks ist ein fortgeschrittenes Technik/Pocket PC Verständnis unbedingt erforderlich - bei unsachgemässer Verwendung kann ein Hard Reset notwendig werden oder das Gerät kaputt gehen. Wenn Ihr euch nicht absolut sicher seid, lasst es lieber bleiben.

Eine Verknüpfung zum EndKey, SendKey, Power Button und PTT Button hinzufügen.

Since some of you guys asked about this , well there you go:
if you look inside the keyboard driver with a good disassembler (IDA Pro) you would see that you can create these link files :

Long_PTT.lnk (push to talk button+long press)
Long_End.lnk (the read key+long press)
Long_Send.lnk (the green key+long press)
Short_PTT.lnk (push to talk button)
Long_Power.lnk (Power button +long press)
Short_Power.lnl (Power button)

So basically all you need is to create these link files and put them in to windows folder. You can assign these keys to any shortcut you want

I attached one of my favorite short cuts unzip the file then put it in to your windows folder. then press Send Key for about 2 to 3 second to run the shortcut. It will bring up the wifi networks.

ps:for assigning EndKey to HTC EndKey look here:

I was cooking my personal rom , and I spend some time on HTC EndKey. I finally figured how to assign the End Key+long press (The red buuton on your device) to HTC EndKey (HTC Application) All I had to do is create a link file Long_End.lnk and assigned it to EndKey.exe

The attached cab file is HTC EndKey. After installing the cab, keep pressing the end key for 2 to 3 second to run the HTC Endkey(1_0_30736_1).

HTC Camera Fix - besseres Video recording, usw.

Requirements for this CAMERA application to work:

1. Can be installed on any rom so far....AFAIK...
2. Must Install HTC ALUBM.
(any version of HTC ALBUM i guess it will work with any version, but this version works beautifuly)
3. Install the HTC CAMERA Cab file.
Soft Reset.

New features:
1. I Noticed some improvment in the video recording
2. Easier to control the HUE and different photo settings
3. now u can zoom in Video mode, MMS Video mode and all the other mods (but 3MP Photo Mode / Gps Mode)
4. Camera Album will open straight from the camera app (No more PIMG.exe)
5. the video will be played back through Windows Media Player.

Langsames scrollen im Pocket Internet Explorer fixen


The one thing that anoyed me the most is the slow scrolling in pie when you load a "large"page.

This fixed it for me:

I only used webview.dll from that archive and replaced it with the one in my windows folder , reset and it works like a charm now!

Btw use at your own risk , i used this dll on helmi_c's latest cooked rom.
But it probably should work on other roms.

Mit der angehängten cab Datei wird die schon integrierte webview.dll automatisch ins richtige Verzeichnis kopiert

Loggen von GPS Daten ins Exif File beim Fotografieren:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\HTC\Camera\
Im Verzeichnis namens P9 den Wert für "enabled" von 0 auf 1 ändern.
Es gibt Photosoftware wie Google Picasa, die diese Infos auslesen und in Google Maps oder Google Earth anzeigen können.

Bildschirm soll während eines Telefonats nicht ablöschen:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\BuiltIn\RIL\EnableFastD ormantDisplay DuringCall
von 1 auf 0 ändern.

Eigenes .gif und .wav während dem Boot Vorgang

Gewöhnungsbedürftig (da es zumindest bei mir nur ca. 1 sec dauert), aber der einte oder andere könnte sich darüber sicherlich erfreuen ;)

1. Das eigene .gif und .wav in den \Windows Ordner kopieren

• Gute schon vorbearbeitete .gifs gibt's hier.

2. Mit einem Registry Editor auf [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\HTC\StartupAnimation]
3. Folgende String Values erstellen:

• "GIFFile" Inhalt "\Windows\3deinbildname.gif"
• "WAVFile" Inhalt "\Windows\deinsoundname.wav"

4. Folgende DWord Values erstellen:

• "Enabled" Inhalt "1"
• "Volumn" Inhalt "127"

5. Am Ende sollte das dann ca. so ausschauen:

Hot fix for TyTN II photo quality issue
If you zoom in on a captured photo and notice grainy, maze-like patterns within the image itself (this problem is caused by too much sharpness enhancement being applied in bright-light environments), please download and install this hot fix to solve the problem. Sharpness parameters within the photo will then be reduced with only a minimal loss of image sharpness.

auto start von Programmen verhindern:

!!!!!!!!!!!Warnung es wird nicht empfohlen in den Windows Ordner zuzugreifen.
Tut das nur wen ihr sicher seit was ihr da tut.!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wen ihr verhindern wohl das bei jedem Neustart ein Programm autumatisch ausgeführt wird dann geht auf datei-explorer/Mein Gerät/Windows/AutoStart
Und dann löscht ihr die Verknüpfung des Programms.

Wen aber eine Verknüpfung in der Speicherkarte ist z.B. Tomtom dann müsst ihr auf
datei-explorer /Mein Gerät/Windows/Autostart
da sollte dann die Speicherkarte erscheinen öffnet den Order Speicherkarte und löscht die datei autorun.

Wen das nicht geklappt hat dann sucht autorun von der Speicherkarte heraus und löscht die Datei anschliessend

Wen ihr nicht sicher seit welches Programm das ihr löscht dann könnt ihr es mal öffnen,
wen ihr z.B. autorun öffnet sollte Tomtom erscheinen.
