Well, this question is almost like "I'm about to buy a new car, and I'm considering either a BMW or a Mercedes Benz, any suggestions?"... :P
You will get either a ton of reasons for each one, including some very feasible reasons for other ones, or nothing at all... I would say nowadays it depends rather on your own gusto with which OS you rather like to work or you feel more comfortable, all the techie stuff is meanwhile quite close between these devices. Maybe it would help if you could at least say, what you used until now, and maybe if there's something really specific that you're looking for...
