Wird Apple Shazam kaufen?

Shazam, die Nummer 1 App wenn es um Musikerkennung geht, soll offenbar von Apple gekauft werden. Beide Firmen stehen kurz vor einer Einigung und das Ergebnis wird schon für kommende Woche erwartet, so ein Insider.

Es gibt sehr viele Apps, die dafür gemacht worden sind Musik erkennen, Platzhirsch ist seit langem Shazam. Auf fast jedem Smartphone findet man die App. Wenn man sich umhört fällt fast nur der Name dieser App. Alternativen wie z.B. SoundHound funktionieren ebenfalls sehr gut. Shazam geniesst jedoch, ähnlich wie WhatsApp, seinen sehr grossen Bekanntheitsgrad und lässt anderen Apps weit hinter sich. Siri kooperiert seit iOS 8 mit Shazam.

Was können wir erwarten, wenn es wirklich soweit kommt? Könnten wir Shazam dann vll. nur noch auf iOS Geräten finden? Bin mal gespannt auf eure Ideen.
