Apple tritt NFC Forum bei

Wie man heute lesen konnte, ist Apple dem NFC-Forum als Sponsor Member beigetreten. Damit bekommen sie einen Sitz im Board of Directors ("The Board of Directors consists of one representative from each Sponsor Member.") des NFC-Forums. Apple wird durch Aon Mujtaba vertreten.

Apple setzt die NFC-Technologie seit dem iPhone 6 für Apple Pay ein. Ob sich dadurch Apple im NFC-Bereich weiter einbringen wird, bleibt abzuwarten.
