Na dann hoffe ich, dass sie das Kameraproblem bald gelöst haben. Dann werde ich definitiv auch flashen.

Hatte ich versucht zu installieren, ging (zum Glück) nicht. Irgendwie gabs Probleme mit dem Aroma Installer, jedenfalls war nach 7% Installationsverlauf Schluß mit der Meldung: Rom erfolgreich geflasht.
Beim anschließendem reboot kam dann die Warnmeldung " no OS installed". So war es dann auch.
Auch das Modifizieren des Rompakets vor dem Installieren brachte nix.
Vielleicht ist ja der o.a. Kernel Fix der Weisheit letzter Schluß, denn eine Vorinstallation der Romeigenen boot.img brachte auch nix. Trotzdem viel Glück beim flashen, naja und das die Camera noch nicht geht ist ja nicht ganz so schlimm:)

Wg. zum Glück - habe die Cynagonmod 10.1 jetzt drauf, hätte nicht gedacht, dass man auch ohne Sense gut leben kann. Zumindest funktioniert dort alles, bis jetzt.

Bin mal gespannt ob die das Kameraproblem noch vor meiner Vertragsverlängerung lösen. :D
Aber nichts desto Trotz finde ich es Klasse, dass die ROM-Köche das Sensation noch nicht aufgegeben habe.

Das hoffe ich doch auch ganz stark, dass sie es noch ein bischen supporten. Ich bin immernoch sehr zufrieden mit meinem Sensa.

Und die Vertragsverlängerung hat sich jetzt noch mal verschoben. Leider (aber nicht wegen dem Sensa).

Bei mir läuft es stabil und rund. :top:

Sodele,
ein paar Tage des erproben sind rum und ich bin weitgehend zufrieden mit dem ROM.
Ich habe allerdings ein Wehmutstropfen festgestellt. Ich habe meine Kontakte auf dem PC, Thunderbird mit Lightning, synchronisiere mit Birdiesync. Alles auf dem aktuellsten Stand, hat unter Viper 1.6.3 auch prima geklappt. Unter dem JB Rom kann ich jedoch meine Kontakte auf dem Sensa nicht mehr bearbeiten. Kennt jemand das Problem oder besser gleich eine Lösung oder liegt`s mal wieder an mir?

Problem erledigt. War ein falscher Parameter bei den Einstellungen zu Birdiesync.

Nachtrag: Wenn die Kontakte auch nicht Löschbar sind, die zwei Dateien contacts2.db und contacts2.db-journal löschen. Sie befinden sich unter data/data/com.android.providers.contacts/database. Nach einem Neustart kann man seine Kontakte, dieses mal hoffentlich mit den richtigen Einstellungen, neu syncen.

Aber bitte Vorsichtig und auf eigenes Risiko!

Klasse ROM. Läuft fehlerfrei und der Akku hält bei gleicher Nutzung ca. 20-30% länger bei mir.

Soll ich den Threadstarter fragen, ob ich dir den Startpost überschreiben darf?

Hallo Zusammen,

ich bin neu hier im Forum am schreiben, aber schon viel am Lesen. Ist mein erster Versuch ein ROM zu flashen.

Würde gerne auf mein Sensation das Viper 3.0 (oder auch andere Version) installieren.
Leider habe ich und das Sensation einen Hänger.
Das Flashen aus 4ext scheint erfolgreich zu sein.

Bisher ausgehführt:
Bootloader mit der Anleitung von HTCDev Unlock
4EXT Recovery installiert
Viper 3.0 ZIp in Root von SD Karte gespeicher
in 4EXT gebootet => install from SD Card
zip File ausgewählt
alles durchgecklickt ohne Fehler
Full Wipe erfolgreich
nach Reboot bleibt das Handy beim HTC Logo stehen

Frage:
muss S-OFF sein? Das habe ich noch nicht hingebracht
Habe schon diverse SuperUser zip von der SD Karte geladen, aber S ist immer ON
brauche ich Root-Rechte zum flashen?
Ein ROM von MIUI ist auf der SD Karte, das kann ich problemlos installieren (hat aber andere Bugs darum will ich's mit Viper versuchen)
Vermute dass es ein Problem vom Kernel sein könnte. Welchen sollte ich verwenden? Und wie bringe ich den aufs Handy?
