[ROM] Jr4 (JOP40D / 4.2.1): MoDaCo Custom ROM for the Nexus 4

[FONT=Arial]Hier stelle ich euch das MoDaCo Custom Rom vor, welches ich in Verbindung mit dem aktuellen Franco Kernel auf mein Nexus 4 geflashed habe...läuft rund und mein Akku hält weitaus länger durch als das Stock Rom /Kernel.[/FONT]




About MoDaCo Custom ROMs:

MoDaCo Custom ROMs are based on official ROMs. A MCR release is designed to feel like a stock ROM with optimisations, tweaks and complimentary additions that enhance the user experience. The aim of a MCR is to be ultra reliable for use on an everyday device.

Requirements;

In order to use this ROM you must have a custom recovery installed. The ROM is installed at your own risk. A wipe IS recommended if coming from a ROM other than MCR or stock. BACK UP YOUR DEVICE BEFORE INSTALLATION!

Installation

To install this ROM:

• Download the zip file of your choice from the links below (or the online kitchen) and copy to your sdcard.

• Restart your device in recovery mode
• PERFORM A BACKUP FROM THE MENU
• Select the option to apply an update zip, and select the zip file you copied to the internal sd card! Remember that due to the 4.2 user changes, you may need to change to the '0' directory in recovery to find the zip!

PS: Für eventuelle Schäden oder Fehlfunktionen an euren Geräten bin weder ich noch Modaco verantwortlich. Durch tiefgreifende Systemveränderungen (Bootlooader, Unlock, Custom Roms usw) erlischt die Herstellergarantie. Das sollte jedem, der sich mit dem Thema befasst auch bewusst sein.

das Problem beim MCR ist für mich, die prebakes sind immer doof weil da soviel drin is was ich nicht will und nicht alles was cool ist mit drin
damals beim HTC Hero hatte nen Premium Account und hab mir immer selber was gekocht dort, aber da hab ich keine Lust mehr zu

@qvert: Ja, stimmt schon, in den MoDaCo Prebaked Roms ist schon eine Menge Zeug drin, das man nicht unbedingt benötigt. Ich kenne die Roms noch von Galaxy Nexus, dieses hier mach zum Glück nicht so einen überladenen Eindruck. In Verbindung mit dem Franco Kernel R15 ( heute morgen geflashed!) läuft es echt rund... :D.

Hier zu habe ich als Launcher die aktuelle SPB 3D Shell installiert, sieht super aus, läuft extrem flüssig, scheint jedoch bei on-screen zu viel Strom zu ziehen, ich werde das mal weiter beobachten...

Hatte das mal testweise drauf und den ganzen unnötigen Kram mit TB deinstalliert (Google Earth etc.)
Lief eigentlich sehr gut, nur paar Features fehlen mir bei dem Rom, die in den anderen schon Standard sind
