Mozilla hat bekanntgegeben auf Basis der Gecko Engine eine Metro-Version des Firefox entwickeln zu wollen. Was aktuell nicht bekannt ist, ist ob diese Version anders als der Internet Explorer 10 im Metro-Modus Flash-Unterstützung bieten wird.
Sie soll auf jeden Fall auf Touch-Bedienung ausgelegt sein.

Ohne Flash wird es nur eine alternative sein zum IE10 die nicht wirklich mehr leisten kann. Und wenn es wirklich ohne Flash kommt dann könnte dies ein Indiz dafür sein, dass es keine Addon Unterstützung besitzen könnte. :/ Fragen über Fragen...

Na ja, die AddOns sind ja normalerweise Zip-Container die XUL-Scripts enthalten und ein paar Bilder was ich mich erinnere. Acrobat Reader und Flash Player sind da ja doch ganz andere Kaliber (sprich Binär und mit eigener Laufzeitumgebung, etc.).
