NexusHD2-IceCreamSandwich is a HD2 ROM based on Nexus One's AOSP ICS ROM. (Thanks texasice for compiling it from the source code.)

• Include tytung's 2.6.32.45 ICS kernel.
• Include tytung's ICS ramdisk (initrd.gz).
• Include the required files (not in AOSP ICS) from my AOSP GB ROM (i.e. NexusHD2-Gingerbread).
• Please give credits to texasice (for N1 ROM base) and me (for converting it to be compatible with HD2) respectively if you reuse any of our works. Thanks. http://media.xda-developers.com/imag...lies/smile.gif

Installation:

• Please use at least 200MB system partition and at least 2MB cache partition. (Please refer to HD2 NAND Toolkit.)
• Full Wipe.
• Flash the ROM.
  
  • MAGLDR: Flash NexusHD2-IceCreamSandwich_Beta3.zip, then reboot.
  • 　 cLK　 : Flash NexusHD2-IceCreamSandwich_Beta3.zip and NexusHD2-Kernel_2.6.32.45_tytung_ICS_Beta3-cLK-update.zip, then reboot.

Optional downloads:
Flash them right after flashing a ROM.

• framework-res.apk_v401_without_softkeys.zip (Default in ROM.)
• framework-res.apk_v401_with_softkeys.zip (You need to change ro.sf.lcd_density to 200 to fix the overlay of the softkeys and the keyboard.)

n1, hats schon wer ordentlich getestet?

Ich werde es erst installieren, sobald die Kamera und USB Mass Storage funktionieren.
Ich hoffe, dass es nicht mehr so lange dauert ;)

hatte gestern ma kurz die clk version installiert. hatte aber probleme mit wlan. und außerdem laufen die meisten apps noch nicht auf ics.
ansonsten läuft das rom schon sehr gut!

was mich aber noch gestört hat: konnte keine einstellmöglichkeit mehr im browser finden, wie man die mobile ansicht deaktiviert...

Sieht schon sehr vielversprechend aus...
Freu mich schon auf die final version :biggthumpup:

Wie werden die ganzen Apps eigentlich für ICS kompatibel gemacht? Durch die Entwickler, oder wird es einen "Kompatibilitätsmodus" wie bei Windows geben?

so sehe ich das auch. Massenspeicher und ICS kommt drauf.

so, habe jetzt die beta2 drauf, aber als SD Build - genial.

BT Handsfree und Wired Audio gehen noch nicht, der Rest ist klasse!

Massenspeicher geht übrigens, null Probleme. Anbei mal ein paar Pics.

gaaaaaanz wichtig: der Ordner muss UNBEDINGT "ICS" heissen und sich direkt auf der SD Karte befinden!!

Im Magldr auf "Services" gehen, dort erster Punkt "BootOptions" oderso, dann runter auf "AD SD Dir", dort runterscrollen bis zum Ordner "ICS", dann kommt man automatisch wieder ins magldr-Hauptmenü, dort dann "AD SD" anwählen und: - es fluppt!!!

mass storage soll mit 3. party apps funktionieren. hab ich aber noch nicht getestet.
ansonsten recht stabil.. hier und da will mal die ein oder andere app nicht mehr... nach reboot geht es aber
dann wieder. beta halt.

Massenspeicher funktioniert bei mir - natuerlich muss man - wie bei SD Builds ueblich, nen Neustart hinlegen, um an die neu aufgespielten Dateien zu kommen.

Handsfree und Kopfhörerbuchse sin die einzigen Beeinträchtigungen bzw. Bugs, fuer mich aber sehr wichtig und daher ist das fuer mich noch nicht alltagstauglich.

Schon aber ein Wahnsinn, in welch kurzer eit dieses Build zum laufen gebracht wurde.

mit der Beta 4 vom heutigen Tage incl. EGL 6.1 soll der Kopfhörerausgang definitiv gehen.

Hab im Moment kaum Zeit, deswegen werde ich das am kommenden Sonntag mal in Ruhe ausprobieren.

Ich lade mir auch gerade den neusten SD Build runter. Bin schon gespannt :D

mit beta 4 hatte ich kein wifi tether mehr... auch nicht mit externer app :(
musste erst mal wieder auf die 3er zurück...

Beta 4 macht in der Tat Probleme..... kein WiFi Tethering, Wifi überhaupt ist sehr buggy, man muss die Zugangsdaten alle manuell eingeben und selbst dann laufend Abstürze.... BT Handfree mit meinem Samsung HM1100 geht immer noch nicht, mit dem Plantronics Stereo Kopfhörer E590 dann schon - aber ich wills ja mit Ohrstöpsel ausprobieren.

Wie auch immer, gebrauchen kann ich es so noch nicht, höchstens ein bissl damit rumspielen und testen.


Mal ne gute Nachricht: Kopfhörerbuchse geht jetzt. Das ist prima, werde gleih mal im Auto die Radio-Bluetooth Lösung und die Kopfhörerbuchse testen.

Ich musste bei Beta 4 auch die SSID vom W-LAN manuell eingeben. Aber die Verbindung blieb über 5 Minuten stabil.

jetzt mal getestet..... Kopfhörer geht einwandfrei - schonmal gut. Aber ich krieg mit keinem Bluetooth-Gerät den Telefonton ausgegeben.... stumm wie ein Fisch im Wasser; so ist das nichts....

Hat das einer von Euch auch? Ich hatte das noch bei keinem Build.

gibts es auch ne möglichkeit die sd version im CLK/CWM zu testen?

nutze kein MSGLDR sondern CLK+CWM

es gibt ja auch die NAND ROM Version. Die geht glaub ich mit CLK und Clockworkmod.

Mittlerweile sogar als Beta5:

während mit Magldr das komplette ROM geflasht werden kann, muss mit CLK erst das ROM drauf und dann der Kernel nachgeflasht werden.

Ist mir leider noch zu buggy, deshalb bleibt bei mir erstmal die SD Version drauf, habe jetzt Beta5 und die ist ganz gut stabil.

Ich habe die aktuelle Magldr version drauf und die aktuelle HSPL version.
kann mir jemand eine step by step anleitung geben wie ich diese ROM flashen kann.
was muss ich machen und was brauche ich noch dazu? hab zur zeit die Nexus HD2-Froyo V1.9a NAND version drauf.
die war sehr einfach zu flashen mit der DAF datei aber bei den neuen komme ich nicht klar.
wäre super wenn die anleitung auf deutsch wäre.
