Jetzt schnall ich endlich, was es mit diesem getjar auf sich hat. Wieso werden dort eigentlich mehrere Anwendungen gratis angeboten? Eine vergünstigte Variante wegen niedriger Gebühren könnte ich noch nachvollziehen, aber gleich gratis? Gibt es da einen Haken?

Anmeldezwang? Du musst nur die GetJar App runterladen und dann kannst du beliebige sachen runterladen.
Nachteil der geschichte ist, das du keinen Support und Update für den AndroidMarket bekommst. Die App fliegt wieder runter sobald das ding fertig geladen hat :)
Beatiful Widgets ist die Version von August (sollte sogar die aktuellste sein)

Weil getjar ein alternativer Market ist, ähnlich AppBrain, Amazon etc.
Der "gewöhnliche" Android Market ist im Grunde auch nur eine App, um Zugriff auf weitere zu erlangen.

Es geht mir ums Prinzip.
Die Market-App verwaltet u.a. meine Apps und updated diese auch, ist also mehr als nur der Donwloader.
Die getJar-App hat ja nicht mal eine UI, führt lediglich den Download durch.
Einen Download kann aber jeder Browser durchführen, dafür brauche ich keine App (auch wenn der Browser an sich auch eine App ist^^)
Hat dieser alternativ Market denn irgendwie eine Lizenz von Paperkamera gekauft, oder wie kann er diese App gratis anbieten?
