Pays multi MIUI v1.0 multilanguage
Hi Folks - ich stelle euch hier in Absprache mit Pays sein MIUI Rom vor.

Wer die pays roms kennt, weiß welche Qualität dahinter steht denn auch dieses rom wird ständig gewartet und modifiziert. Viel Spaß damit !

This ROM will give your Desire a multilanguage MIUI.
I thought its time to make MIUI multilanguage and downloaded all (working) translations I could find. I had to decompile a lot of apks in order to get access to the strings.
Also I added more strings to each translation from the official sources, so also the translators of the language packages could decompile the apks in this package and add the updated strings to their repo.
It was so much that I didn't made a list (sorry).
However I don't claim that every supported language is perfect, but I guess they should be near perfect. I also want to add more locales, but I need your support then.

How to contribute:
1.) Grab the language sources from (version 12.18):

2.) Extract the zip, you will get a folder structure with all the strings from the apks the miui team had changed.
Atm 15 APKs, as you probably know a ROM contains even more APKs (about 50 more). Don't worry about them, I will take care of that.
3.) In the APK folder is a res folder, open that one.
You should see various "values" folders. They all contain the strings for the different languages.
Normally there is always a "values-en" folder with a English translation.
Make a copy of the folder and add your language tag (e.g. for Russian, "values-ru").
If there is no "values-en" folder the english translation is in the default "values" folder.
You don't have to translate all the files in it.
Just again make a folder with your language tag and copy the "strings.xml" and "arrays.xml" into it.
Sometimes there is only a strings.xml or arrays.xml file and not both, this is okay.
4.) Open the xml file with your favorite xml editor.
Edit only parts between this tags:

Just take a look at the xml structure and you will get into it very soon.
5.) Please make no other changes to the xml file or the structure.
Only if there is a new XML line available from the original "values" folder and you identified it as untranslated in the ROM.
Copy that one over to your translation on the same position and translate it.
We can test it then.
6.) If you are done please reply to this thread and upload the translation somewhere. Please keep the folder structur and delete the others values folders expect of your language folder of course.
New strings in 12.24:
I looked through the 12.24 release and founds this new strings.
They need to be translated I will do English and German and then upload the source files, so you can translate it very easy with the steps mentioned above.

Please read the next carefully if you want to flash:
The ext partition will be used as your internal storage for apps.
You need at least 512MB that everything runs smooth! (tested with EXT4 by me).
Don't be afraid when the first boot will take a long time. This is normal.
I recommend to do a reboot after you configured everythink and let the phone sync the first time.

Before installing:
-You need ROOT access to flash this ROM.
-You need a 5.xx.xx.xx radio
-Put your Desire in Recovery Mode
-Fully wipe Data and Cache / wipe Dalvik-cache / wipe SD:ext / wipe battery
-Be sure that your ext partition is min 512MB
-Flash latest ROM from SD Card

bin jetzt grad dabei, hatte ein paar probleme da er meine sd karte im system nicht erkannt hat (ext hat er erkannt, aber die daten darauf nicht, im recovery konnte ich drauf zugreifen)
hab jetzt backup der sd gemacht, neu formatiert, ext3 neu angelegt, Rom draufgezogen, geflasht und mal schaun ob er das jetzt erkennt....
