Nokia WP7-Geräte bekommen App für Daten-, SMS -und Anrufzähler

Nokia has slowly been patching the holes in Windows Phone 7 functionality and features with their own exclusive apps.

The latest is Nokia Network Usage, an app which lets you monitor your carrier usage (Phone, SMS and Data) on a monthly basis so as to avoid overage charges.

The app also provides useful information, such as detailed usage data and who your most used contact is, which can be helpful for special Friends and Family calling plans.

The app will also notify you if you are close to your usage limits.

The app is not available yet, and we do not know when exactly it will show up, but it is expected soon.

Klingt interessant. Die Frage ist, ob die App die ganze Zeit im Hintergrund läuft und sammelt oder einfach auf OS-Schnittstellen zugreifen kann, falls diese Daten sowieso schon systemintern gespeichert werden.

Vermutlich gibts ne API, die nur nicht öffentlich ist...

Dass das Programm ständig im Hintergrund läuft halte ich für ausgeschlossen, welche App bei WP7 läuft schon im Hintergrund, ausser den System-Internen? Die Apps stoppen doch alle, wenn man auf den Homescreen geht...

Kann auch sein, dass die Firmware eine Extrawurst wird fürs Lumia,.. wenns so einfach möglich wäre, hätten es ja andere Provider / Hersteller längst machen können... Wer weiß...
