Habe 2 Fragen zum Accelerometer:

1. Funktioniert der Landscape-Modus nur bei aufgeschobener Tastatur oder reicht das Kippen?

2. Sind beide Landspace-Modi möglich?

im hauptmenü funktionierts nur wenn man die tastatur aufschiebt, in anwendungen auch ohne tastatur, aber nur in eine richtung.

Etwas schade...aber nach weiterem Suchen habe ich das hier gefunden:

Use the auto-rotate setting.
When Orientation is off, the display changes to landscape when the keyboard is opened or to portrait when it's closed, but does not change when the device is rotated. When Orientation is on, the display changes when the keyboard is opened or closed, and also when the device is rotated.
Always rotate with the sensor.
With this choice, the application always rotates its display when the keyboard is opened or closed or the device is rotated, regardless of the Orientation setting.
Always use one orientation.
With this option, an activity (note that it's the activity, not the application) always displays in portrait or landscape mode, even if the user rotates the device or opens the keyboard. However, different activities in the same application can use different orientations. You'll see an example of this in a moment.

Gibt es die Einstellungen nicht?

Wir reden schon vom Milestone oder? ^^ nicht von dem handy auf deinem beispielbild?
Es gibt beim Milestone nur eine Einstellung für "Ausrichtung" -> "Ausrichtung beim Drehen des Telefons automatisch ändern", wenn ich die deaktivier dreht sich das Display nur noch wenn ich die Tastatur öffne.

Ansonsten dreht sich das Display immer nur in Richtung der Tastatur, egal ob offen oder zu. Im Hauptmenü wie gesagt nur wenn die Tastatur offen ist.

Ja klar, vom Milestone.

Ich war auf der amerikanischen Motorola Milestone Seite und unter dem Punkt Accelerometer einen Link zu der Seite mit dem Bild.
Übrigens, das Handy auf dem Bild hat auch eine Tastatur.
