nach meinem Verständnis erlaubt es aber auch nicht eine zusätzliche reine Displaysperre (ohne PW)
die neben der Kennwortsperre existiert.

Oder habe ich das hier falsch verstanden?:
To get the optimal usage experience of PocketShield, password protection must be disabled. Remember that PocketShield is not a security application, it is a screen protection application.
If password protection is a must for you then you can use it together with PocketShield but then it could be not so comfortable for you to have to enter your PIN each time you need to unlock or use the phone.

Um die optimale Gebrauch-Erfahrung von PocketShield zu bekommen, muss der Passwortschutz deaktiviert sein. Denken Sie daran, dass PocketShield nicht eine Sicherheitsanwendung ist, es ist eine Bildschirm-Schutzanwendung.
Wenn Passwortschutz ein Muss für Sie ist, können Sie ihn zusammen mit PocketShield verwenden, aber das könnte für Sie nicht so bequem sein, die PIN muss jedesmal zur Entriegelung und Verwendung des Telefons eingegeben werden

Gibt es das denn gar nicht mehr??

Ich habe ein Dienst-Smartphone und muss eigentlich sperren.
Ich kann doch aber nicht nach jedem Standbye ein komplexes PW eintippen müssen!

Das Vorgänger-Modell hatte das doch schon ab Werk.

Habe das HTC Touch 2 mit WM 6.5

Zuvor hatte ich das MDA Touch Plus mit WM 6.1
Da konnte man separat
a) das Display sperren (als Schutz gegen versehentliche Bedienung) und
b) einstellen, dass nach einer best. Zeit das Gerät insgesamt mit einem Kennwortschutz

geht doch beides, oder verstehe ich irgendetwas falsch ??

a) einfach "Auflegen" drücken und das Display muss mit dem Slider wieder entsperrt werden
b) Sperre mit einfachem (Ziffern) oder komplexem (Text +Ziffern) Kennwort
??

Nein, eben nicht!

Wenn ich die zeitgesteuerte BS-Sperre einschalte, dann kommt bei jedem aus-/Einschalten die PW-Abfrage.

Das ist ja das Problem.

beim HTC Trinity gab es schon einmal mit windows mobile 5 das gleiche Problem, ich Poste mal nachfolgend die Lösung von damals, weiß schon jemand ob das auch auf dem Touch2 funktioniert der WM6.5 hat??

unter Vorbehalt
wurde noch nicht auf HTC Touch / WM6.5 getestet!
1. Goto Settings and select Lock
2. Under the "Prompt if device unused for", select "0 minutes"
3. Close it then use any Registry Editor that you have and I believe you should have one. If not you can try Resco(commercial) or TotalCommander(Free), and open;
a) "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE" then
b) "Comm" then
c) "Security" then
d) "LASSD" then
e) "AE" then
f) "{50C1337-C66D-400C-889E-C316FC4AB374}" then
g) change "AEFrequencyType" from whatever value there to "2" then
h) change "AEFrequencyValue" from whatever value there to "0" then
i) close and save the changes.
j) for best result, wait for one minute for the data to be safely writtem into the registry, then
k) use any 3rd part software that can do soft-reset to reset the phone. DO NOT USE THE RESET BUTTON BY PUSHING YOUR STYLUS IN THE SMALL HOLE FOR NORMAL RESET.
l) that's it.
If you set your phone to turn-off after one minute, then It will ask you the password that you set in the "Lock" whenever your turn it ON again. However, when you charge or use external power or connect it using USB cable to sync, your machine will not goes off unless you set you phone to turn OFF after whatever minutes. The ask for password only occurs when you turn your devices from OFF to ON.

Remember: this is only achievable if you do this;

Kindly follow the instructions accordingly and you will get what you want.
