HTC's neue App Boost+

HTC hat eine neue App namens Boost+ vorinstalliert, welche so wie es aussieht ähnlich wie CCleaner funktioniert. Ich werde die App testen, wenn das Gerät bei mir eingetroffen ist. Ich bin mal gespannt, ob die App Daseinsberechtigung hat. Gerade wenn man bedenkt, dass HTC in der letzten Zeit die Entwicklung einige eigene Apps eingestellt hat.

Das tolle bei der App ist, dass es auch auf Nicht-HTC-Geräten läuft. Hab's auf dem Note 4 drauf und bin recht zufrieden. Die App läuft und bisher stürzte die App nie ab. Außerdem gibt's nicht nur praktische Funktionen wie den Cleaner oder die App-Sperre via Muster/Fingerabdruck, sondern auch schicke Animationen. Allerdings soll wohl bei der App-Sperre Werbung angezeigt werden.

Als ich mich über die App informieren wollte, habe ich einen Testbericht gefunden.

On my Nexus 6P, the first time I fired it up it wanted to close 18 apps by default. 14 of those will instantly start back up, because they need to run in the background to do things like listen for incoming messages or control the lights in my house, or talk to my Huawei Watch. Three of the remaining four are apps I don't want closed — I wouldn't have installed them if I didn't want to use them. The remaining app is the keyboard, which will probably start right back up, but if not will need to start before I do anything smart with my smartphone. This means your RAM once again gets used (which is what is supposed to happen), your CPU is used to start these services which uses more battery power, and you get a chance to use Boost+ to close them all again because it didn't get pushed out of memory.

Die App ist für jeden Verfügbar, scheint aber eher nur für HTC Geräte optimiert zu sein.

Ich habe sie auf meinem M9 installiert, ich schau mal, was sie so tut.
