• GPU clock is now 384Mhz by default because it can use the same amount of voltage and the same OPP as the 307Mhz giving us extra performance without taking a battery hit

Bitte OP ASAP auf 14.2 updaten. 14-14.1 hatte für diverse Leute massive Stabilitätsprobleme. Unter anderem Bootloops, Signal drops etc.

das problem liegt aber beim aktuellen cyanogenmod rom, es funktionieren einige custom kernels nicht mit dem neuesten build.

btw. franco.Kernel #14.4 ist verfügbar und soll einige probleme fixen (bootloops, undervolting, datenverbindung abbruch bei display aus) ausserdem hat er nen cm9 ramdisk fix miteingebaut.

Das ist aber kein Problem sondern nen feature von cm gewesen, die haben die ramdisk angepasst, also mussten die kernels die das auch tun angepasst werden

naja, das ist ansichtssache ... wenn man ein ROM so verändert das es mit keinem 3t kernel mehr funktioniert dann ist das nicht gerade userfreundlich/produktiv und bringt gerade unerfahrene leute in eine blöde situation. (bootloops)

man hätte ja langsam darauf hinarbeiten können, z.B. vorher den kernel entwicklern bescheid geben damit sie es anpassen, oder zumindest die leute davor warnen einen andren kernel zu flashen.

aber naja, auf der andren seite ist cm9 halt ne alpha version da muss man eigentlich mit sowas rechnen

dort gibts 2 neue governour, einmal francoturtle = spart viel akku und einmal francogazelle = spart immernoch akku aber ist schneller

Kernel 15.2 ist raus incl. des neuen Kernelupdaters
der gleich automatisch den Kernel nach dem Download installiert.

Macht keinen automatischen Download mit dem jetzigen Updater!

Danach ist die SD-Card unmounted und ihr findet nichts mehr wieder.
Mir eben passiert, es sieht auf den ersten Blick aus als ob die SD gelöscht wäre.
Wenn man über die Recovery schaut ist aber zum Glück alles noch da.
Nachdem ich ein altes Nandroid wieder eingespielt hatte war alles wieder ok
und ich konnte erstmal sichern.

Wenn man den neuen Kernel dann via CWM manuell flashed ist alles ok.
Mann, mir blieb grad eben kurzzeitig das Herz stehen.....

Also erstmal Pfoten weg vom neuen Kernelupdater,
zumindest was das automatische Updaten des Kernels angeht.

* Stock voltages. This will rule out any possible issues coming from bad voltages on my side

* Added Dynamic Hotplug: Dynamic hotplug for francoTurtle is a simple check: if currentfrequency is equal to minimum frequency and the number of online cpus is equal to 2, cpu1 offlines; if current frequency is bigger than the minimum and the number of online cpus is 1 cpu1 onlines. This check runs every 2 seconds. If none of the conditions are met it keeps polling every 2 seconds until one of the conditions are met. This is an attempt to provide extra battery power during screen on. More information on how to enable/disable in the feature list above, or just use my app

* Dynamic hotplug removed - this is a good idea on paper but CPU spikes up every other time while trying to check if cpu1 was online or not, and that is not expected at all. I may return to this implementation in the future if I think of a better way to do it
* 350mhz bumped to 400mhz and set as minimum frequency as default - for testing purposes, we'll see that comes from this
* francoTurtle is the default governor again

ich habe den Kernel geflasht und bin wie viele andere auch zurück auf 16.2.
Der Kernel ist irgendwie leicht buggy, lest mal bei den XDAs.
Ich werde auf #17.1 warten.

Ich fand sowieso alles was er nach 13.1 gemacht hat ein Bisschen seltsam.
Bis auf den Dynamic Hotplug welcher ja leider nicht sauber funktioniert.

Ehrlich gesagt, ich bin auch immer weniger zufrieden und fast lächerlich finde ich, dass er die alten Kernel nicht mehr zum Download anbietet, er sagt der neuste ist der Beste!
