v2.4.3: Updated to cm_bravo_full_8 (RC1) in full besides /system/lib/. pongster pointed out to me that /system/lib/ in RC1 is what causes the 100% CPU issue. Once I figure out which libs are troublesome those will be upgraded as well. Implemented AdamG's A2SD+. This will most likely stay within the build indefinitely unless there are serious problems with it.
v2.4.2: Updated to the latest CyanogenMod apps and framework. This change brings many updates to CyanogenMod settings, but brings a nice new feature... Battery percentage! This can be found under CyanogenMod settings -> Interface -> Status Bar tweaks. This brings the best of both worlds, RC1 features but without the bugs RC1 introduced. I will update to an RC1 based build whenever I can work out the bugs, but until then, we will be using the latest nightly before RC1 with RC1 framework/apps.

-Auto backlight does work but custom auto backlight levels do not. This started occuring once LED Notifications began to work. They are both tied to the lights library but it will remain this way until a new lights library is available. I feel that this is the best middle ground because to me LED notifications are essential.

Kann es sein, dass "tyween" die Downloads für die diese Version entfernt hat? Laut xda´s gibts wohl schon einen Bug, aber mal abwarten.

Habe auch soeben rausgefunden, dass man nur die "normale" Version über "Megaupload" ziehen kann, aber sonst keine andere. Bei Rapidshare steht die Datei als gelöscht da. Naja, vielleicht hilft einfach mal abwarten.

Edit: Bei Hotfile lässt sich die RAM-Version downloaden.

Die Rapidshare Links sind Down, weil bereits 10 User das ROM von dort heruntergeladen haben. Ich kenn mich bei RS nicht so wirklich aus, aber ich meine dass wenn man dort keinen Account besitzt, diese Limitierung gilt. Scheint wohl ein Fehler von Multiupload zu sein, denn man uppt ja erst dort, und Multiupload uppt es denn bei den Oneklickhostern. Alle anderen Mirrors funktionieren.

Kann ich nicht bestätigen.
Die RAM-Version kann man auch downloaden.

Wer weiß. Ich konnte mir ja nun die RAM-Version über Hotfile ziehen. Bei Rapidshare klappts übrigens als Premium User auch nicht. In den vergangenen Versionen hatte er kein Downloadlimit drin. Aber nun gut, back to topic.

Wie gesagt, es liegt nicht an deinem Fehlenden Premium Acc sondern an dem von tyween bzw. Multiupload. Nun aber schluss mit OT^^

So, nachdem ich ja gestern noch Probleme mit dem Download hatte konnte ich heute nicht wiederstehen und musste die neue RAM-Version 2.4.1 flashen.

Hat auch soweit sehr gut geklappt, aber was mich wundert, dass ich die Ext3 Partition im Titanium Backup nicht angezeigt bekomme.

Geflasht habe ich wie folgt:

1. Task 29
2. Flash Radio(2.15 Recommended)
3. MAGLDR 1.13
4. Ext3 nach Plan A erstellt
5. ClockworkMod Recovery v1.3 125M System/44M Cache
6. Install TyphooN CyanogenMod 7 .zip with CWM
7. Darktremor's A2SD+ via CWM geflasht (gleich im Anschluss, ohne den ersten Start)

War es vielleicht ein Fehler Darktremor´s A2SD+ direkt danach zu installieren, ohne dass das Rom das erste Mal gestartet war?

Und wie wäre es, wenn ich es nochmal nachinstalliere, oder eventl. AdamG's A2SD+ nutze? Macht das einen Unterschied bzw. können Probleme auftreten, wenn ich ein anderes nehme?

Ansonsten ist der erste Eindruck wirklich super. Jetzt gehts natürlich ans einrichten, wobei ich von meinen anfangs knapp 193MB freien Speicher nur noch 127 MB habe.

Vielleicht habt ihr noch einen Tipp für mich.

Tante Edit: Mein Problem ist gelöst nachdem ich "AdamG's A2SD+" genutzt habe. Musste quasi alle Programme wieder deinstallieren und nach deren Neuinstallation wurden sie super in die Ext3 Partition verschoben. Habe nun immernoch 173MB internen Speicher frei.

Der erste Eindruck des Roms ist wirklich super. Meine Microruckler die ich noch bei MDJ´s Version hatte treten nun nicht mehr auf.

Also von mir eine klare Empfehlung für die RAM-Version.

ich nutze zur zeit die standard version und bin auch sehr zufrieden damit.
wollte nun ma wissen was ihr von der ram version haltet. ist diese schneller?
und wieviel ram habe ich dann noch zur verfügung?

Also nach knapp 24 Stunden mit diesem Rom kann ich sagen, dass es super flüssig läuft, aber ob es nun so viel schneller als eine "Normale" Version ist kann ich nicht sagen.
Habe auch von diesem Rom keine andere Version getestet.

Ich würde zwar sagen, dass es etwas schneller im Vergleich zu MDJ´s 2.6er Version ist, aber der Unterschied ist in meinen Augen nicht so groß, aber das könnte jeder anders empfinden.

Wieviel Ram noch zur Verfügung steht kann ich dir leider nicht sagen, weil ich nicht weiß wie man sich dies anzeigen lassen kann. Vielleicht kann sich dazu mal ein anderer User äußern.
Würde mich nämlich auch mal interessieren.

Den Akkuverbrauch finde ich übrigens auch super. Habs heute morgen 6 Uhr vom Akku abgezogen und immernoch 57% übrig. Zwischendurch habe ich 2x telefoniert, war mal kurz im Internet und auch kurz gespielt. Die E-Mail Synchro. findet stündlich statt und ein Download aus dem Market war auch dabei.

Edit: Kann dann doch mal einen Screenshot von meinem RAM-Verbrauch online stellen. Ich hoffe es hilft dir ein wenig weiter.

ja danke das hilft mir schon weiter. also wenn ich das richtig sehe sind unsere ram speicher ungefähr gleich ausgenutzt! ich dachte dass ich durch die ram version weniger ram speicher zur verfügung habe! aber anscheinend ist das nicht sehr viel weniger.

das hier hab ich noch auf der original seite gefunden:
RAM vs Standard builds:
RAM builds load /system/app, /system/framework/ and /system/lib into memory at boot. They reside there indefinitely. This slows boot time but speeds up applications whenever a library is needed or a system app is loaded. This means that if you need to delete an app from the ROM it must be deleted from /system/ram/app/ and /ramfiles/app/. If you do not do this it will magically reappear after a reboot. Standard builds do not preload these things into memory, like any other android build. Also, to change the kernel libraries you either need to create a custom CWM .zip or push the libraries to /system/ram/lib/modules/.


das heißt ja dann dass ich die apps wenn ich welche löschen will! diese manuell aus dem speicher löschen muss.

Also eine Empfehlung kann ich dir nicht geben, aber ich kann so viel sagen, dass ich mit dem "normalen" Kernel sehr zufrieden bin was die Akkuleistung betrifft. Gleiches habe ich ja schon weiter oben berichtet.
Einen anderen Kernel habe ich noch nicht getestet.

@evidenz & Moderatoren: Vielleicht kannst du/ihr die Changelogs mal oben mit anpinnen, da ja nun bei der Häufigkeit der Updates kein neuer Thread erstellt wird. Ich finde, dass das hier Moment auch "noch" nicht notwendig ist. Die Übersichtlichkeit ist in meinen Augen auf jeden Fall noch gegeben.
