Update is LIVE

Hello all! It has been a while, but i'm back with a brand spankin new release for you all

A quick run through the changes - most significantly the new bases - we are now on P7500CELB1 and P7510UEKMP. Along with the latest bases available, I have ditched the stock Xoom launcher (there is still a patch available for those who prefer it) and used the launcher from P7310UELA3 as the default in BOTH roms. This Launcher, put simply, is FAST. This launcher is not only faster than the Xoom one, but we also retain all the TW goods (like setting lock screen wallpaper).

Another note is that I have discontinued development on the Overcome CWM Recovery for the time being. I have compiled a stock CWM recovery environment based on the latest source (5.5.0.4) which has been included in this release. I think using a standard recovery environment is better as a whole and ensures compatibility while eliminating one-off issues that may have plagued us with a modded release.

Two apps have been included this time around, however they ARE installed into /data/app, so they are completely optional and can be removed at the users discretion. The first app is called HideBar and it provides an often requested functionality - you can hide and show the bottom status bar at will. It is worth noting that the app uses a service to accomplish this task, and the service will not start until you open the app once (after that you can set it to start at boot on its own).

The second app is a VERY cool app and has been brought to us by a fellow XDA dev ftgg99, it is called SwitchMe. It essentially allows you to have two completely different user profiles on one device, which is fantastic for multi-user tablets. Again I will reiterate anyone is free to remove the apps at their discretion through the normal means (settings, applications, manage applications, choose the app, uninstall)

The final thing I'd like to mention is for P7500 folks and I have figured out how to flash modem through a CWM zip. As such I have replaced the tar files with CWM zip variants. This way you can easily flash the latest modem without needing to tether to a computer. The latest modem for this device is P7500XXKL4 and I recommend those of you that don't already have it flash it

Ich finde aber wir sollten für dieses Rom mittlerweile einen neuen Thread anlegen, weil der 1. Post sowieso nicht mehr gepflegt wird und somit immer ältere Versionen anzeigt. Alles andere finde ich ehrlich gesagt unübersichtlich.

Was meint ihr?

Ich wäre dafür, dass ein neuer Thread angelegt wird, weil es irgendwann zu viele Versionen werden und die dann irgendwo auf die Seiten verteilt sind.

Meine Meinung... Ich leg auch gern den entsprechenden Thread an.

Hi, erstmal danke für die harte Arbeit die alle hier reinstecken!
Nun meine Frage: Habe das P7511, würde nun gerne das Rom flashen,kann ich bedenkenlos die Version für das P7500 wählen,das es mehr spiele von gameloft aus dem Markt unterstützt, oder muss es das für's P7510 sein?
Habe nämlich keine Lust einfach so an der Bild.prop herumzuspielen,
achso, gerootet ist es schon.

Ich bin ehrlich, ich kanns dir nicht genau beantworten. Am besten du postest deine Frage mal bei den xda´s. Ich würde behaupten, dass es funktioniert, aber sicher bin ich mir nicht. Mach doch einfach ein Backup vorher und flashe es dann über den CWM.
